Which one of you all do I need to talk to for the rights to use this on stuff? I dunno if it will ever be for profit, but I'd like to ask permission first. Been gone so long, I forget who.

Thanks!
Christopher

I don't think an official one as ever decided on. The one that seemed to be the most popular was the neuron tree one. Subtle_feather came up with the idea. Haribish designed the original (I think) and people have been tweaking and tampering with it ever since. I really don't think there's one specific "owner" of the symbol. I think Cavum (correct me if I'm wrong) has already created some merchandise with the symbol on it.

Yeh subtle feather came up with the idea for what seemed to be the most popular tickling symbol, and I designed an idea for it that people seemed to like and use in some cases, I recently got it tattooed actually 🙂

In any case, the whole idea was to design something FOR the community, if that concept has been constant with everyone involved then you dont need to ask permission to use it, you certainly dont for the one I did.

Here it is if you want it for anything.

I thought I saw on a previous post that the unofficial "color" of tickling/the forum was orange....any truth to that?

And where is this "merchandise"? I'd like to go shopping!

I also thought getting those silicone bracelets for members would be a good idea - that way, it'd be easier to identify other members and still be somewhat discreet about it.

I thought the official symbol, at least of the Forum, was a line drawing of a guy with a huge smile holding a stick - like the quill of a feather - it was perfect: just enough so that WE would recognize it but no one else would.

I think that was a possibility, but I think the majority "voted" for the neuron tree....see above.

Orange? :eek

Thanks, Haribish. I shall put it to use.

I figured I should ask. I remember in the huge thread where it was discussed someone mentioning rights and such. Maybe it was because the BDSM emblem was also being talked about.

Thanks!
Christopher

Neat symbol, should be a good ice breaker

Gee, I thought the universal symbol was an unanswered personal ad! It would be hard to tat that though. Now is being worn on the left side 'lee or 'ler? 😉

PICS PLZ!!!

WOW! Something I thought up has become a tattoo on someone I've never actually met! This feels like some kind of merit badge--thanks Hari, for making this dream a reality 🙂

Thanks for coming up with such a good idea 🙂

the symbol afew years ago was in fact the orange feather.....frankly i didnt quite understand the color decision.Always did think a better idea was needed

I personally found that a feather wasn't a good symbol because for a lot of people a feather has nothing to do with their tickle fetish.

Tis why im happy subtle feather came up with his idea, because its relevant to anyone into tickling no matter how they choose to enjoy it.

Ditto - and it's not as painfully obvious/cheesy/unoriginal as a feather.

this thing looks stupid, and weird. sorry, but i'll never go for it.steve

While it's a nice graphic, it doesn't say much about the subject. Here's one designed by the brilliant Cap'n Mad, which I prefer.
It combines the BDSM symbol with feathers, and thus is more meaningful.
How can we get badges or cloth patches made?
