Habit for me, too.
A big reason I'm here is for the discussion element, so sticking with one forum lets me stay on top of what's been discussed to death, what's new, what popular opinion is, etc. To go to TT I'd be starting all over again with posters I'm totally unfamiliar with.

I'm with everyone else. I joined TT, but the place just didn't seem as happen as the TMF.

The look. The darker colors are easier on the eyes and it looked a little more professional. Tickle Theater's design, to me at least, has always felt very uninviting.

I actually love the design of TT. I love the cartoons on the banner- but then I am more into TK "anime" than I am into photos. Some of the TMF ads can be a bit much for me.
BUT- although I've been on and off of TMF, argued with people, felt disrespected, disrespected people, accused the Mods of being biased, grew up and now agree with the Mods in most cases... Debated things that were meaningless to the death (NO... To the pain!~ Princess Bride) LOL WOW It's been over 10 years!
I've stayed with TMF because there are people here who make me feel like I am part of a disfunctional family (It's ok that we have a love/ hate relationship lol). And I honestly feel like a lurker on TT.
So...... although I bounce back and forth, I do go to TMF more, and those are my reasons.

I started posting here back in 2007 and found it to be a very active forum. I have since joined TT but there is little activity on a daily basis. I did visit TT when this forum was down.

As we found out recently, TT is like the spare tire in the trunk; it may be a bit soft, but does the job in an emergency, though it’s best not to drive with it too long.
Honestly. and I dont want to sound negative.. or testy.. but..
I have two reasons. One.. TMF is larger, more active, and friendlier.
Two.. and I hope this isn't going to start World War 3.. quite a few past people who I had trouble with from here, and who have been banned from here, are over there, and I don't want to spend time going at it with those people. I have enough going on in my life. Yes, I know about the ignore list. However, between this... Wu's foot forum.. Atlanta Journal Constitution.. work., my mom, friends, and real life.. I have enough going on.
I don't need to be at TT.

2. There's some pretty extreme artwork (and some blurring of "age issue" lines) that gets posted there that wouldn't really fly here. (e.g, "We're gonna tickle this girl's foot with a feather...then chop her head off. Yikes. : ( )

To add to it; sure, there's enough cliquish behavior here to rival any High School, but that's simple human nature. That's going to happen in any large group. It's not evil. It just happens. But the vast majority here are just regular folks (well, regular with a twist, I guess).

TT seems to be a more traditional "internet" forum - ie full of young gamers and anime-aficionados and this: 
Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I like how the TMF seems to have a more diverse membership which, I believe, leads to it having more diverse conversations (today, I so far have replied to topics concerning sheep, eReaders, Tolstoy and zombies.)

The younger demographic is really refreshing sometimes. I talk to TT people outside of that forum way more than I associate with TMF people outside TMF.
