I just have to take some time out to stare in awe of what this forum has become. We had 965 people on the other night, and soon it will easily reach 1,000. The number of members are growing every day. New red-feathers and orange feathers are being promoted everyday. New people post, new images and video clips are being shown. Members are branching off and starting new sites that inturn get posted in the links page. This is huge...
 
We have here:

Almost 6,000 members...

Almost 19,000 threads...

And OVER 100,000 posts...

Now even though over half of the posts are posted by our top fifty posters, still we have many many people posting threads and replies!

Just think, if we use a exponential growth curve we would see that if things go the way they are going... this time in 2003 we should have:

Over 25,000 members...

Over 70,000 threads...

And Over 500,000 posts!!!!!!

WOW, we saw Biscuits dream turn into reality... How about making mine!!!
 
By the way... I will follow up on this and see what is happening. I want to see this forum grow so big that I can walk down my street and see people in know from this forum!!! In EVERY town and EVERY country. Both Male AND Female. Tickler and Ticklee!!!
 
This is definitely the site I frequent the most. Not only am I glad to see so many people that share and understand my interest in tickling, it's great to see so many different perspectives and experiences as well as pictures and stories. I'm very grateful to this place.

I want tickling to become a common understood practice.

I don't want people to have to fear being "found out"

I want people to be able to live according to their loves.

TMF growing

The TMF is growing by leaps and bounds. In the last few days we seem to have added over 200 new members. Maybe now the the thousands of lurkers will start delurking en mass. I am estimating that we will have over 10,000 members in six months. This is a great time to be a member of the TMF. It is a time when we are entering a golden age of tickling.

A major reason for the recent membership jump (280 people in the last 5 days) is the opening of the new chat room which requires a TMF membership. Many many people who only used the chatroom before have needed to grab a name to use the chat, thus the big burst. It's startgin to settle back down to the normal levels of daily adds.

From my experience, telling peeps that one is into tickling ain't so bad. Most of the reaction I get is positive, even if that person doesn't like tickling or deems it to be juvenile/silly.

Now, start telling peeps that you have a fetish for the lower extremties on a person, and you will get quite a differnt reaction, altogether...

"And you will get quite a different reaction." --> see "Airplane" 😛

The callout seems to be working. We added another 40+ members since yesterday. Keep it comming, we will all be one happy community.

WE NOW HAVE OVER 6,000 MEMBERS!!!

AND ARE LESS THEN 10 AWAY FROM 19,000 TOTAL THREADS!

AND HAVE OVER 115,000 TOTAL POSTS !!!

WHAT A LARGE STEP FOR THE LAST TWO WEEKS!!!
 
Does this mean that tickling is getting more popular, if we can get over 1000 people on this board at once?? 🙄
 
Tickling always popular

I think tickling has always been popular and done by masses of people for ages. Only in the past it was done in extream secrecy and no one ever talked about it. That is now what is changing. The age of keeping tickling secret is ending.
 
I think that within the next five years, many members of this community are going not going to be ashamed of tickling rather they will be proud. They will be able to tell everyone of their friends and family members!

I'm not so sure about that. Attitudes I still think have to change.
Out of 6,000 plus memeber, 1% of the memember do 90% of the posting. So I really do not know how open people have become.

It's great to see that a certain person who will remain nameless, was so utterly frigging wrong about the new room being the death of TMF chatting.

After the peek when the chat room was added, it was averging 20+ a day. Now we have dropped back to anywhere from 6 to 15 daily. Before the chat room things averaged a solid 8 a day. We seem to be settling at a slightly higher level then that. 🙂

Now that Howard Stern is tickling again in front an audience of millions surely more people will look into tickling and find this place.
