Legos hurt like hell to stand on. Every one has stepped on one in he middle of the night at least once. Unfun!

Myriads

When I was very young im not ashamed to admit that I mistook my box of lego for my potty.... now THAT was painful.

Apparently, it was modeled after a Japanese game show called "Downtown no Gaki no Tsukai ya Arahende!!"

Hahahaha, I must have felt there was Japanese fingerprints all over this :blaugh: It looked at the kind of stuff they'd turn into a show.

First time I visited Japan, I saw a TV show wherein a man was invited to physically enter the anatomically correct replica of a giant vulva. And then I was like "okay, this trip is gonna be fun!" 😀

I just saw a link recently that said professionals who walk on hot coals and broken glass for a living say it's more painful to walk on legos.

One of my friends is an anthropologist who specializes in Buddhism. She did walk on coals as some point when she took part in a ritual, while she was studying for her master's degree.

She said it did not hurt, as there is apparently a certain way to do it, that does not really leave the soles scarred. I'll take her word for it lol 😛

Ive heard that too, that there's a way to do it that doesn't hurt at all. I think it's something to do with never standing on any one coal long enough for the temperature of the coal to transfer to your skin.

My understanding is that it's more a test of your bravery and focus than your ability to endure pain because as your friend said, if you do it right it doesn't hurt at all. But if you panic and hesitate, you could get burned pretty good.

That's also how I remember it was told to me. It was some 10 hears ago, so my memory is pretty vague now, but that's the gist of it.

Gotta admit, and no pun intended, but it's kinda hot to imagine a woman taking such a test; or any test of bravery for that matter

My wife often equates being tickled as a "face-your-fears" kind of challenge.:2poke: I like the idea~
