We are in central pa and were wondering what the response would be if we were to set up a kind of tickle bar? a club where you could come in and tickle someone or be tickled? but privately,, also , even wondering if this is legal here,, we are entertaining the issue,,, and possibly the possibility of maybe offering me up for tickling for a price and then maybe getting some of girls in on it,,, what do you all think? a good business or not?

We've a local club here that has 3 volleyball courts (sand) and that boasts themselves the world's biggest body shot bar...Does that count? I think it has possibilities.... :xpulcy:

That sounds like a great idea, quite interesting, even though I'd probably never get to PA to go to it if it does become a reality, but still sounds like a good idea.

Well it seems very similar to a bdsm/fetish dungeon concept to me.....pay-to-play, private sessions, etc. Only here, the focus would be on tickling--a significantly smaller target demographic.

Adding alcohol to your "bar" would be new, albeit risky. lol

Excellent Ideal

I too thought of a fetish club in StL. I had two prime locations already setup, one was an old buffet restaurant right off the highway, now it an cracker barrel. My second location was a lot better, again right off the highway; located in the back surrounded by trees, a white castle in front (hamburger place). It was an old Chinese restaurant, twice a nightclub it had an 50 foot deck; kitchen & bar to serve the members.

Problem with both ideals was

Location: they were in a predominately-black area in the suburbs , which at the time was very nice. The motel in the area was good traveling motels, 20 screen movie theaters, all types of restaurants and shopping centers.

However, since the closing of the many manufacturing plants, illegal aliens, and the flood in New Orleans; Apartment complexes so worry about making money relaxed their standards of whom is allowed into them. The mass condemning of low-income house in the city and intentionally saturating areas North County with the cities undesirable people.

And mostly my wife would have killed me if I would even mention it to her; I had to forsake my dream.

I live in Pittsburgh and travel out to Central, PA (Johnstown area) for coaching as we play a college team out there, at least once a season, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE make this dream a reality as tickling in PA is rather scant 🙂 Also, keep us posted if this is something that really gets considered and could happen and when. Thank you for the awesome idea!
 
Tickle Bar

This kind of idea has been kicked around before including a clinic for stress release. While I think the idea is great, I would spend a few buck and get legal advise from a local lawyer.
 
I travel all through out PA for my job and for one would LOVE a nice place to relax on my way home! LOL!

I always wondered where the places in NY were when I was going there too. Not that I could have afforded it anyway I suppose.

How about Northern Jersey? I get that way about two or three times a year.

But central PA? Sweet!

Uncanny, I had this very idea months ago but wondered how to implement it without it screaming out "Tickle/Foot Fetish club"! What I came up with was a couple nights a week, it would be fetish night, and on a given night you could feature a particular fetish..... I wouldve made tickling like 3rd down the line to not be so obvious, one of those fleeting ideas that i won't make come to pass, but good luck if you do-- I promise I'll frequent it! I really do remember posting this a while back, it's gotta be there somewhere!

Great idea but the "pay for play" part may be the shadow.
Some in the legal field or the LAW, may see it as a form of prostitution.
Perhaps a "moderate cover charge" at the door and free albeit limited play inside.
I seriously doubt it would be a wise idea to serve alcohol.

I don't think there's any doubt that there would be demand for this. It's a cool idea. But, the permits and other legal issues is a huge factor. Looking into possible venues for NEST, we've heard plenty of horror stories about how pre-existing clubs in Phili have been forced out. Many cities want nothing to do with something like this. That would be your biggest battle.

You might try contacting the gal at the place we were at this year. She had a lot of stories to tell about this and may be able to advise you a bit if you decide to dig deeper into the possibility. (If you need her contact info., just PM me. We won't mention the club here in case we use it again.)
 
You should be able to stay on the happy side of legal if you avoid any nudity or sexual contact for pay in your establishment. I know Footnight has foot fetish parties all over the country, and selling tickling shouldn't be any more risky than that.

The other issue you'd have is simply drumming up enough business. A dozen people on this thread stopping by once or twice a month wouldn't be enough. Depending on your operating expenses, you'd probably need to pull in several clients every hour to get by, and tickle enthusiasts are a relatively small percentage of the overall population. You can address this either by limiting your hours of operation, to concentrate your clients into a smaller time frame, or by expanding your services into other areas. Adding any of foot worship, massage, or BDSM to your tickling offerings would increase the number of people you'd have coming through.
