Let’s face it: girls are ticklish. Their tummies, underarms, ribs, and of course the tender, delectable soles of their feet. A further observation: guys like to tickle girls. And in the tickling battles that play out day to day between the sexes, victory goes not infrequently to the gentlemen. We at MTJ Publishing believe that the time has come to face these facts, and not merely face them, but celebrate, nay, REVEL in them!

Umojar, long a favorite among the Tickling Community’s artists, has joined forces with veteran tickling writer Colin (LEXI, CAPTURED BY AMAZONS, TORTURE OF THE CARESS) to see what happens when laughter-loving male meets ticklish female. Here you will find professors and princesses, businesswomen and barefoot beach-babes, spacey chicks and chicks in space, all deliciously helpless, all laughing hysterically under the fingers of the menfolk.

I very much enjoyed this publication. I always admired Umojar for his clean, bright drawing style, and his perfect understanding of such tricky things as foreshortening and anatomy. It kind of surprises me he didn't make the step to become a published artist at MTJ earlier, because he's been delivering top notch tickle art for as long as I can remember.

My favourite illustration in this "narrative artbook" (which I would call it, as it is not quite a comic, and not quite an art portfolio) would be the japanese girl that's being tickled by the yakuza guys. (the very same drawing that was used partially in the advertising banner) I don't know quite why I like it that much, but there's something so cute and lovely about this girl that makes it so irresistable to look at. 🙂

Having purchased this just last night I must concur with Scavenger; that piece is my favorite as well.

Hey, girls can beat boys at tickle-fights, too! It just requires...well...lots of dexterity and a LOT of energy to keep wiggling around and not getting pinned. As for the attack, more like quick, sharp jabs and surprise attacks. And ganging up on one girl? Us girls could gang up on one guy and win, too! SO unfair...

Thanks all. I'm really glad it did well. To answer the question before, time was mainly an issue as to why I didn't work with them earlier. I look forward to doing more projects with them in the future though.
