I have been remembering a few tickle games I played as a little kid.
Does anyone remember playing them as a kid? I did with my friends at school. I would make the boys do it to me 😛 Sometimes when I'm being flirty I do it to other people just for a laugh and to see their reaction.
I googled them and here they are below
Did anyone have similar games like this?

"WE'RE GOING ON A TREASURE HUNT (Lightly trace a squiggly
line down the spine) X MARKS THE SPOT (Draw a big x on the back)
THREE LINES DOWN (Make big lines down
across the back from Left to Right ), WITH A DOT, DOT, DOT, COMMA, COMMA, QUESTION MARK, EXCLAMATION POINT (make each punctuation mark big) WITH A PINCH (Pinch the sides) AND A SQUEEZE (Open the hands wider to squeeze the sides) AND A TROPICAL BREEZE (Lift the hair and blow
gently on the back of the neck) NOW YOU'VE GOT THE SHIVERS (Tickle the name of the neck)!"

"DOT, DOT (two pokes in different parts of the back) LINE, LINE (drag one finger down from the shoulder blade to the small of the back and drag a finger back up from the small of the back to the shoulder blade)
SPIDERS CRAWLING UP THE SPINE (gently 'walk' your fingers up the back right up to the neck) TIGHT SQUEEZE (gently squeeze the neck), COOL BREEZE (Gently blow on the neck) NOW YOU HAVE THE CHILLIES (Gently squeeze the neck again)"

"X marks the spot (draw an X) with a circle (draw a circle) and a dot (poke the middle of the circle) Spider’s going down (run fingers down their back) Spider’s going up (run fingers back up). OWW! You got a bite! (Squeeze the back of their neck) bloooooood rushing down (run your fingers down their back) bloooooood rushing down (run fingers down again) squeeze some oranges on your shoulders (squeeze their shoulders) let the juice drip down (run your fingers down their back) Now guess the magic letter (Draw a letter on their back) or I won’t go on (make them guess before you continue)
Needles in your neck (drum your fingers on the back of their neck) and a knife in your back (thump them lightly in the back) means the bloooooood drips down (run your fingers down their back) means the bloooooood drips down (repeat) Needles in your neck (drum your fingers on the back of their neck) and a knife in your back (thump them lightly in the back) means the bloooooood drips down (run your fingers down their back) means the bloooooood drips down (run your fingers down their back again) Feel the cool breeze (blow lightly on their neck) and a tight squeeze (squeeze the back of their neck lightly) Now you’ve got the shiveries."

A babysitter used to trace the letters of the alphabet on the soles of my feet and make me guess them. If I missed, I got tickled worse. I missed most of the time on purpose, and this has been my favorite tickle game ever since.

First of all, all this talk of running something up ones back has given me the willies! LOL! I never played any tickling games, but we had a lot of games we incorporated tickling into whenever we could. Like tag!

When i was 8 i had a puppy love thing going on with a neighbor hood girl ,..we would run around chase each other then out of the blue i would say "it,s tickle time"...then tickle her of course ,..one time she told me to stop because she read ,..in the paper that a man tickled his wife to death....i,m to this day still looking for that news paper.

We actually used to play around with tie up tickling. Odd that I didn't rediscover it until in my early twenties.

Yeah my Babysitter would always play Tickle tag, and would tickle me for ages! She was about 18 and I would have been 5-7. She loved tickling me, she'd tickle my sides and feet for hours. It was torture.
There was also the one where you trace the hand then tickle the under arms.
Also two of my friends sat on me, one would hold my arms and they'd tickle my sides. I hated it as a kid, far too ticklish =)

LOL

Doctors and nurses would allways do the trick!!!!

hide and seek could also have tickling on it....we had a special hide and seek in portugal called "dark room"...this would be played like hide and seek but like the name implies, would be played on a dark room. it was kind of dangerous and everyone would be barefeet just not to risk someone stepping on another friend or some harder kick 🙂 one of the things we would do would be to tickle the crap out of any nearby friend so they would laugh and reveal their position. It was a fun game!!!! altough dangerous!!!! 😀 😀 😀

Yep, also played that game of guessing stuff drawn on the soles of the feet.

I also played simply tickling contests. No big rulles, you had to just sit on the couch and dont say stop. we played this when the couch was big enough that our feet would hang in the air. so we could be tickled everywhere....nice game!!!!

And i also played a very agressive variation which was just getting wrapped up in a blanket and tickled like hell.....this one actually sent me to the hospital more than once as i had asthma 😛 😛 😛

Ahhhhhhhhh childhood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😀 😀 😀

Ahhhh

just remembered another one!!!!

tickle quizz 🙂

I had all the 1st collections of "Hyper Dysney". we would do trivia contests over these. it would be a one on one. Both lying on the bed facing each others feet. you would be tickled if you could not answer imediately, so you just had to give an imediate answer. Of course, if it was wrong, you know what would happen also.

Actually, to this day, i think you could ask me stuff about these books and i will be able to answer everything 🙂 🙂 🙂

I remember something similar, but it was called "concentration" and the appeal was to give somebody the shivers.

Oh lord, I remember those!!!

There was this one I'd do with my friends. It was a sort of horror story thing we'd do at sleepovers. The "victem" would have to like down and someone would tell a story of walking down a street at night, and seeing a crazy man who took you to his experiment lab where he'd strap you down (they'd grab your wrists and ankles) and he'd cut you up (trace a line down the middle of the torso, down the legs and arms) put cement into you (hands pressed down onto the "cut open" areas) then bees (the tips of fingers lightly poking), and whatever else the story felt like putting into the victem. they'd also stitch you back up and the goal was to not move around or it'd start again.

Guess who got that treatment more times than they can remember? XD

Never played those ones myself. I do remember similar ones though. We would often draw shapes or pictures on each others backs and the person had to guess what they were before their time ran out, if not, they'd get tickled by the person drawing.

Another one involved closing your eyes and holding your arm out in front of you. Someone would gently run or swirl their finger up the underside of your arm as slow as possible with the aim of the game being you had to tell them to stop when you thought their finger was in your elbow joint (which is surprisingly very difficult! lol) It wasn't really a tickling game, but it always tickled me like crazy 😀

I remember my older sister playing those games at sleep overs in our basement while my little brother and I spied on them.
We would laugh and eventually were caught and tickled unmercifully.

Good times!

A similiar variation of the first two games were played by me and my friends when I was younger. I forgot all about them until I read this thread. 🙂

ummm where was i when these happened? i used to play this one "game" where we had my neighbour doing something random (she was younger than me) and i'd give her a choice between different tortures and i obviosuly ignore anything else than tickle torture. i did that twice and twice ONLY 🙁 i missed out on alot of fun i guess
