Okay, so I actually know what she's talking about because I've seen stuff on this before, haha. It's a real thing and when I first heard about it I thought it was a joke, until I read up on it.
For the massage, I have the feeling people are imagining, those fantasies of the therapist tickling them on the table, but it's not actually gargalesis they're going for, it's knismesis. The goal is to relax the client with light touching, and the sensation is not supposed to excite them. Usually.
And then there's actual "tickle-therapy" that I've seen come up in Europe, (I think it was London?) where the point IS using the endorphin rush of laughter for stress relief.
YouNeverKnow175 brings up a good point though. Depending on how easily you're turned on, idk if that would be such a good idea, lol.
