Hey gang,

Just crossing something over from an interesting point made in one of the vid-clip threads. Someone made the point that they found the recent trend towards nudity... and I'm assuming the more "porn" aspect of the adult industry, coupled with tickling "unappealing".

I have to say, I too have noticed a great deal more of the "tickled to orgasm" type clip trends out there among a number of producers. Now I'm not bashing them or even saying I don't like the material.... but does anyone else feel that perhaps the innocense of why we're all here in the first place is slowly dissipating into the world of hardcore porn?

I come here to enjoy the fetish of tickling that we all love and I enjoy the different discussions and the many friends i've made here over the years. And sure, i like to see some good video clips. There just seems to be a major shift from the more "innocent" nature of tickling videos, where nudity was never truly necessary. Now its all too common... not saying thats a bad thing, but it just feels different.

I've definitely noticed it too, and I feel the same way as you about them. While I'm not offended by nudity and porn aspects, it doesnt make the clip enjoyable for me and I cant help but wish it was easier to find good clean fun tickling sometimes.

Well there are plenty of producers who still do produce good clean fun tickling clips/videos, I just find things are being watered down by the "porn" aspect of things of late. Just an observation 🙂

I disagree. I remember what he's talking about. It was only a few years ago that the pics and the few vids out there were mostly non-nudity and de-sexualized. The sexiest I could find at one point was a pic of a fairly fit blonde tied to an ab-cruncher, getting her feet tickled with a hairbrush, and she was wearing a bright pink workout uniform.

Personally, I produce what I would like to see. Some may call this selfish, but I call it "quality control". As a result, I know that I am only producing videos that I would like to see, quality wise, but also, it means that the videos are usually going to include some sort of nudity or sexually explicit interaction.

Well, since the trend is more sexual, it seems to me that people who watch it for the tickling only are making almost a niche market within the niche market.

Personally, I think nudity is best live, hands on, as it were. For visual stimulus, I prefer bra and panties or bra and jeans to anything else. Nudity just doesn't appeal visually to me as much. Not everyone thinks so, and the trend seems to indicate a majority don't think so. And I love a big orgasm on a woman. But I think that particular motif may be starting to overshadow the tickling itself. I'm guilty of making an orgasm tickling clip, and a couple nudies, so it's not like I don't get the appeal. I kinda agree with Groucho Marx on the subject. In an interview when "Hair" was first making it big, he said nudity on stage or screen doesn't really do anything for him. That being said, some of the most intense, mind bending clips for me have been nude. But I think they would have lost nothing being clad.

This. Frankly, from the time I first found forums like this I kinda wondered why there wasn't *more* sexuality, given how erotic so many of us find tickling to be. Some people just dig watching them. Like a concert where the music is laughter.

But many do pleasure themselves. But, for many of those, if they wanted sex, they'd buy Vivid, and not tickling. To many watching sex is not terribly stimulating. Just a visual thing. But tickling may be more erotic. So there's people who pleasure themselves, but only want the tickling part for whatever reason. Maybe it's true fetish, and that's what they need to get off. I'm not "complaining" 😉 Certainly tickling can be and is sexual to probably most of us here... and the more "hardcore" component we're seeing recently is probably a reflection of that, as Bella stated. It can be fun and innocent too... but hey, that still turns me on, as Rhiannon said, lol. This. As a lesbian, I usually find myself struggling between two sides of myself. One side really loves the body of a woman and goes when I watch an f/f video with two attractive ladies. But this other part of myself wonders if I'm just promoting the negative aspects that pornography supports. And what if you like tickling combined with other sexual acts? For quite a few people tickling *with* other forms of sexuality are what truly arouses them, why should they be denied on a tickling forum?

I think moving towards more erotic content, with standard porn elements, is something that often comes naturally when a company gains in popularity and does decent business. Especially when the producer wants it to be his/her main or only source of income. Over the years, several companies that eventually became big players started which much "cleaner" content, attracted attention, and gradually introduced racier stuff, which made them even more popular. It's not a new phenomenon. Some might feel that they "sold out". But, like it or not, I think it's a logical decision.

Fact is, sex sells, including among tickling fetishists. Most people enjoy or even prefer when nudity and/or obvious sexual acts are involved, mixing them with their special personal kinks. So if a producer is serious enough about his/her business and wants it to be lucrative, especially considering how unbelievably saturated and competitive this limited market has become, going the "porn" way is the obvious answer. Not that one couldn't be successful with something tamer, but I'd say it's a lot harder.

I personally find it unfortunate, and wish more producers would stick to more casual, down-to-earth tickling. To me, it makes it easier to relate to the situation and models. It's closer to what might happen in everyday life. Still, I can't blame producers for jumping on the sex wagon. If profits are important to them, then it makes perfect sense. Also, it's possible that some producers always wanted to do something more sexual, but couldn't do ti when the started because they were still too shy to approach models with it, or didn't have the contacts or finances to do it. But after they gained more experience and resources, they were finally able to do what they wanted. Whatever the case, I don't find it surprising at all.

Myself, I don't intend to ever change my approach. I wouldn't be comfortable with something more sexual, many potential candidates would be put off by it, and it would go against what my company is all about. Besides, I've always been a minor producer, and always will, so I never felt any pressure to change my ways. Not to mention that my company is just a little sideline for me. It's not my actual job.

To be fair, I do try to get as many models as possible to do tongue tickling (without forcing them), a technique than can be considered a little kinky, and possibly sexual to some extent.
