TickleTheater expired?

I just went over there, as well and the domain is not active. I am guessing two things happened:

1. The admin failed to renew the domain

2. It was shut down

If it is number 2, then could they shut us down as well? Even on some fictious bogus charge?

I feel I must echo Mr. Goth. None of the other staff knows what's going on, either (or at least, Bob), so it can't have been a planned thing. Bob sent an email to Mr. TickleTheater, however, so I'm sure it'll be sorted with on the morrow, if our site creator checks his inbox regularly.

ya, but i just popped over 6,000 posts over there. i don't wanna give up that kinda milestone. proof that i spent hundreds of hours improving the comunity. all lost.

I don't think any of the information can be completely deleted unless it's done so manually. Not by a domain failure.

I didnt see any posts over there that the forum was closing, so maybe it just crashed, or expired, but we need to think of another thing. As we all know, the economy is terrible, and these sites cost hundreds of dollars a month to run. Maybe the owner couldnt do it financially anymore. I'm thinking, though, that something else happened, such as maybe just a domain expiration, because nothing was posted about it closing.

I'm also a mod at TT and nothing was said about this. If it was legal troubles, mods would have had arses kicked for not modding more. 😛 Is just short-term problems, will be back up soon.
