I actually just remembered one after class we were sitting on some chairs and a girl was sitting in front of me. Her feet were raised off the ground, her heels against the leg of her chair.

I reached down and tickled her foot. She yelled and jumped. It was pretty cool.

The only thing I do that can be even remotely construed a martial art isn't a martial art in the traditional meaning.

Viking weapon displays, with no choreography planned at all. Though we do use blunts, for obvious reasons, namely "sharps hurt" and "insurance."

Mostly doesn't really lend itself to tickling until you move onto knives... at which point normal rules go out of the window.

I've been thrown to the floor, tripped people, pulled people down on me when they tried to throw me, nutted people in helms with my bare head (this was painful 😛) and more.

Having said that, with a mostly male group, no tickling tends to happen. And the only girl I ever play around with when we're using knives is at least as good as me and tends to require all of my concentration - otherwise I'm on the floor with a knife to my throat/gut/manbits.

Even if it did, then it's pretty hard to tickle someone through a wool tunic while wearing leather gardening gloves when the adrenaline is flowing.

However, knife-fighting in such a way HAS had some effect on the general tickling stuff - my first girlfriend was never fast enough to tickle me, I could literally grab her hand out of midair when she tried 😛 And then get her back, worse.

So, while not really applicable... there's always something.

i posted a pic of myself in one of my Gi's tied up by my lower level belts, with my feet up in the position, (did this after observing a blackbelt test and was feeling in a tickly mood) hehe, this thread goes PERFECT with this topic. so I refer you to it below.

I've been in MAs for years. The only tickling I've seen of any duration has been during grappling classes. It's always been girls getting tickled. I've never done anything more than a poke myself. I'm really more of 'lee anyways and I wouldn't be inclined to advertise my extreme ticklishness during a grappling class. It'd be really unnerving to attempt to grapple someone like fightinggirl666 who could specifically be trying to exploit that weakness. Although as a lee I'm sure i'd love it. If you ever make it out to the Reno area, you have a standing challenge (or at least a willing victim).
