Well, I have assumed alot, but thats how you come off. You gotta understand that people are gonna judge you based upon what they see you post here. Nobody on this forum can really know you personally (maybe some) so how you present yourself in your posts is how you will be summed up. And what I have described you as, is what most who regularly browse this forum will see you for (in regards to the reg artists and reg followers)even though most don't have the guts to say it. Im not trying to really insult you, if I have come off that way I apologise. Most of my "offensive" remarks were sarcasm anyhow.

allow me to ask yo a few questions, if I may, to try and better understand your position.
1. Why do you feel the need to "observe" peoples art the way you do? Is it to help them? To make yourself feel better? Im just trying to understand it. Thats all.
2. Why carry things like this on? This thread could have remained intact had you and a few others just let it go.
Again, I know my comments didn't help any, and I already explained that situation, but I am just curious as to why you choose to do this when you know that some of the artists (like chimp) won't like it? Why not just leave them alone? ....just wondering.. 🙂

I'll answer one and two in a simple way-
Do you know who Simon Cowell is? He's that british judge on American Idol?
Think of it this way, I'm like the Simon Cowell of the TMF artists, but I'm not british and I'm far friendlier than he is.
The point I'm making is that I'm like him in that I'm brutally honest. Its as simple as that. I have an opinion to give so I give it. As much as someone may like or dislike Simon Cowell he is consistant. He doesn't waiver, and he doesn't lie. Paula and Randy are like everyone else that comments. They pretty much say the same things over and over again and its gets redundant. And they sugarcoat. My bluntness counteracts the sugarcoating, in theory.
I think my dynamic here is alot how Simon's dynamic works with the other judges on that show. While we aren't judges here and this isn't a competition, I believe in evaluating people's art. Its there for a reason, and not just to look and admire. If and when I have something to critique I also have something nice to say about the artist's work.
As for why I cannot 'leave them alone', well, I would, but he started it. It is always someone else that cannot leave it alone and move on. If he could just take my opinion, and either agree or disagree in a peaceful and non-confrontational way this wouldn't have happened. I would have been satisfied and I would have only had to reply once.
If people want to reply and comment on my opinions, thats fine. But as I've said, there is a right and wrong way to do that. The right way has not been taken here and I'm almost certain the mods will agree.

Im just a little sensitive, and I could imagine what it would feel like to be told anything negative about something I've worked hard and long on like that....but then again, Im not an artist, and I guess thats the risk you take when you post your pics here....oh well, I apologise, gentlemen, I was out of line. I'm sensitive too. But as an artist myself, I cannot allow that sensitivity to affect me in any way. I'd eventually lose myself. I don't like that it might hurt people's feelings, but I'm not doing it for that reason. Its just an observation I want to make. If it truely hurts them I'm sorry, but they need to believe in themselves enough and not let what I say grind them into the ground. Its not fair to me and its not fair to them to let that happen to themselves.
Listen here, you WERE out of line. As far as I'm concerned you made good and even on what you said. You are the only one here, thus far, that has ultimately proven they are mature enough to make a turn-about for the better, and its funny because you were the most rude of the bunch. I will agree that it needs to stop. But we know it won't no matter who stops first. And we stopped arguing a long time ago revolter. Its actually turned into more of a conversation. By the time some people read this, hours will have past. But for someone reading it all at once upon logging in, it will seem like its fresh and is still going on. In fact, it really calmed down earlier than I thought it would. Kudos to all involved here. That is to say Kalamos and myself and now you Krokus.
