What is it about the feet in particular that appeals to you so much? Something in the reaction? The way they look?

I've been thinking about this recently, and wondering how much my own foot fetish plays into my love of tickling my girlfriend's feet. I think it's a mixture of finding a woman's feet intensely attractive, and them usually being so ticklish.

Yes, having a tickle/foot fetish isn't that uncommon. I think that some of the fascination is that the foot is generally covered in society. The sole of the foot is even rarer to be seen in public. Perhaps there is a "forbidden fruit" factor? If we saw décolletage all the time, I'm sure that it wouldn't be nearly as exciting.

Yeah the ticklish feet is such a strong part of my fetish largely because feet are generally hidden, slightly off-limits and somewhat detached from daily life and also detached from the person to a certain extent - I don't mean they are falling off obviously, but they are like an extension of the body that people aren't necessarily too aware off (like they would be their hair or their face for example). Feet almost have their own personality - toe wiggling, shoeplay etc

They are also the same as any other body part in the sense they can be sexually attractive if looked after - feet are all different in their size, shape, colour, which makes them individual to the person, just like other features you would find attractive in a potential partner.

As they are quite far away from the person's arms, they are often harder to defend when being tickled - and they aren't tickled as much as someone's sides or belly might be - so when someone gets their feet tickled, there's often an element of surprise and additional ticklishness brought about by the fact that it's something the lee is not really used to.

Well let's see, I'm closer to 50 than 40, and for as long as I can remember I have been totally infatuated with female feet. When I was younger I didn't understand it, I just knew I always stared, and was always looking down to steal glances of feet. I'm very similar to okdremur, and I've explained this elsewhere on other threads. The obsession was within me since early childhood, before the sexual aspect was there. As long as I could remember, the sight of a barefoot woman gave me intense feelings. I didn't understand then early on -- then puberty hit, and it all became crystal clear, but it should be noted that unlike most here, tickling/massaging/worshipping female feet is, to me, a sexual act, and I never really had the urge or need for actual intercourse, oral, anal or any other sex act involving genitalia. No sex abuse in my family (at least that I know of). No religious repression (now-and-then practicing Catholics growing up, non-practicing now). No other forms of abuse or trauma that could have turned me off to traditional sex. It simply was hard-wired from the get-go. I'm 46, and after decades of desire, it remains the only sexual craving -- the touch, the sight, the scent, hearing her reactions, the whole sensual spectrum. This is a perennial question... but what the heck. For me, a couple of things:

The female foot is packed dense with nerve-endings; second only to the lips and/or clitoris.

The clitoris/vaginal area and feet share a common neuro-pathway and signals can get crossed and deliciously mingled into orgasmic bliss.

The foot (on its own)is delightfully unable to defend itself which is yummy is a sadistic way.

A good looking, well cared-for foot, is analagous to the woman; lithe, curvy, soft, animated and sexy, in all its twitching and wiggling.

For me it's never been a conscious choice, and I don't think it's as simple as "I like tickling, feet are known for being very ticklish, so therefore I like feet." I've always just LOVED women's feet from a very young age. I find them to be visually just absolutely beautiful. I feel like there's something inherently erotic about them - the softness, the tenderness, sensitivity. Also I agree with the notion that because they're usually covered/hidden, when they're revealed/exposed there's something so exciting about it.
