just a thought although this might seem wrong..has anyone ever tickled a pregnant woman on her belly?

scenario goes....

the wonderful mommy is rubbing her bare belly. you would be like oh how cute the baby is (or is going to be) and tickle her belly *trying to tickle the unborn baby* and actually tickle the mother instead. making her laugh and youre both having fun. :upsidedow

I would tickle a pregnant woman on her belly if the pregnant woman was my wife/gf, or a close friend, and if she was okay with it. From what I've heard, pregnancy can increase ticklishness greatly, and can turn a moderately ticklish woman, into a very or extremely ticklish woman.

I think laughter is good for both baby and the mom-to-be. Unless it's torturous, I think it's beautiful. I hope my husband gives me raspberries and tickles me when I'm pregnant.

My sister, during her first pregnancy would get annoyed at the people who would come up and touch her belly because she was very ticklish...

I agree that mild, playful tickling would be great for a pregnant lady and her baby. Laughter is a wonderful thing and releases positive energy throughout the body.

She's pregnant again, so i know my Love will tease her a bit more than he already loves to! She's just so cute trying to avoid his fingers!😀

I never did personally but when my cousin was pregnant with her 1st baby she wouldnt let anyone touch her belly at all. Even before she was expecting she was hyper ticklish so my best guess is that it increased while pregnant

When my wife (now ex) was pregnant she was certainly more ticklish than normal. She did not mind it, except would not go for any restraints. Also the sessions were not as long because her bladder was always being pressed on, so she did not want to pee in the bed.

But yes I can say first hand that at least my wife (now ex) was more ticklish.

I also would agree with a few other posters that wife/gf or even a family member (if one is so inclined...not I) would be okay or even perhaps a workmate if it was a good friend. But strangers...I would not do it too.

My first wife . . .

. . . hated tickling (usually), although she found the "Tickle the Baby" game pretty cute. She was a slim woman, and ultra-sensitive. When my fingers would stray to the ribs or the hipbones (especially bad!), she would erupt with laughter and scream, "That's not the baby!"

As her pregnancy progressed, she'd still play "Tickle the Baby" under the condition that she be allowed to use the bathroom first. Finally, by the eighth month, she was so ticklish that I was limited to her feet. She was so pregnant that she was virtually immobile. That was great for me, because her size 7.5 feet were usually about a 5 (on a tickle scale of 1-10). But during the pregnancy, they were about an 11.

Pregnancies were great tickle times (and great times in general) during an otherwise troubled marriage.

I'll be four months pregnant next March, and JT and I have slowed things down. He tickles me lightly on my belly, my feet, thights, etc. It's not unhealthy for the baby by far, but he just worries way too much. But I'm glad he cares for me that much.

Awww congrats Zoe! 🙂 :bouncybou ( I love babies)

You should post stories of the baby tickling in the true stories section if you have any.

amen to that. 😀

and of course people you playfully tickle someone you know and a pregnant woman is no exception. tickling her would definitely lighten her up and the baby making her happy, smiling and laughing rather than uncomfortable being pregnant and oh yes the positive energy is delightful 🙂
