I think it is growing.

I think perhaps its the internet more and more women are open to the fetish whether they wish to be lers or lees or switches. More men as well are coming on board too. More men are open to being lees. Values are changing I think from internet exposure mainly but other reasons as well. Overall it's a good thing as long as people play safe and have fun.

I think more people are nervous to admit that kink with the rise of criticism about the foot fetishists, so when someone says tickling is their fetish, they may link it to feet(a common ticklish area) and then be seen as weird or creepy. I would say it's growing, though the TMF has lessened considerably. I recently checked out Discord and there are a lot of tickling groups there, so it seems that this is where it's concentrated now. But I don't like how that site is laid out, and it seems to be geared towards a younger crowd who only use their phones. I tried to join a group there but it was hard getting in, because I was asked all these weird questions first, many of which made no sense to me, so I said forget it.

Yeah I kinda thought that, I could tell by all the avatars I saw there, they all looked like the same kind of funny Japanese cartoon, no one had their real pic on, except me, so I felt pretty out of place.

By the way, I was in Discord talking to you, and someone else I met here on the TMF. I had an account there under the same name as here, but closed it. I think it got to the point that I realized I just didn't have the time to be in there on a regular basis. I don't know if I'll go back at this point. I feel like Discord is a hotbed of places to get controversies stirring. I initially started using it for gaming, but between the fact that it can monitor your gaming services activity (fortunately you can turn it off) and that there's been a whole bunch of reporting of nefarious activity (Chris Chan, predator hunters, scamming, etc) fueled by everything being "server" oriented, I typically limit myself to a retro gaming group and a few other game- centric servers. I'm just trying to answer the second part here, which was directed at me, the first part was for someone else, but it's putting both in for some reason...anyway, it wasn't just the avatars that gave me that impression, it was the writing styles, etc., but I can't say for sure because I didn't stay long. And I meant younger people in general, not necessarily under 18. But getting back to the original poster's question, I saw dozens of tickling groups there, and they seemed very active, much more so than the TMF, so I think the scene is probably growing. I'd say this has a lot to do with sites (or servers) like Discord which I don't think have been around long.

when you say "into tickling", do you mean actually having the fetish or just having a thing for it.

If it's the latter, I'd say it's growing given the evolution of porn. It is a form of sensation play or foreplay that is incorporated more into other forms of porn and fetish content than it was in the past. so the exposure is greater, leading to more curiosity and more people at least willing to participate in it a lighter form. But people with actual tickle fetishes probably has a much smaller growth, if not stayed the same. As much as it is getting more exposure, we're still a very small niche group of individuals. It's one of those things where the internet doesn't necessarily reflect real life, i.e. more studios and models doing tickling content doesn't translate to more people having tickle fetishes.
