The tastes and desires of the members of the TMF and the tickling community in general are by far too VAST to choose THE BEST tickling story.

Tummy is prejudiced, but yes, the Tickle Street stories are all above average and some have been great. I would also recommend stories by Capt. Spalding, Haltickling, and munchausen. Or if you like tickle torture, try stories by Daumantas.
No doubt some other members think my choices suck. OK then, what would YOU choose?

You'll likely find a ton of great stories right here in the forums. The stories section is chock full of great material.

I have to agree with Dave2112 check out MTJ publishing the best writers are there. As to which individual story is best that is a tough call and one I think you will probably have to make yourself.

Not to sound like a broken record by repeating what everyone said above, but the best story is the one that you like the best. To quote Frank Zappa, "If you like it, it's bitchen, and if you don't like it, it's shitty." I like stuff that some other people can't stand (I'm sure there are STILL people out there who still wonder why the stories I've written all have nylon-foot-tickling, even though they were written for a series called...the Nylon Dungeon. No, really folks, I'm not kidding; Morandilas has been asked questions about this.)
And you might like stuff that doesn't interest me at all. To each his own. You say tomato, I say tomato (that doesn't work in print).
