I'd really love to hear from people here who use tools during their tickling sessions. What are the perks of using feathers, brushes, and so on? (I already have my own feelings but I'd like to see what the members here have to say). What does it do for you emotionally? What responses have you had from your lees? Any replies appreciated.

For me it's mainly to change things up once in a while. I mean, of course you get different reactions from using 'tools' and that's part of the fun. I think that if you're just using the same technique over and over again the session could get a little dull...that's just me though.

Honestly I use tools for playtime. I only use my fingers in a session if I may feel either an attraction to the person or I am very comfortable with them. Tools are my way of making it fun, less sexual...at least for me. The feeling of my fingers on the feet is a real stimulation for me, so often times if it is not just a "quick" tickling...something I will be spending some time doing, I will use the tools.

Not to mention I do often times have a lot of pain, and having to move my fingers less helps for long sessions...so some switching up is good.

I've liked using the feather duster during my sessions. 2/3 of the gals find this very ticklish, while the remaining third said it feels like silk, and is more sensual than ticklish. However, for those who find it ticklish, it does seem to wake the skin up very nicely, so once I move in with the fingers, they seem more ticklish than before.
Like with everything, everyone is different, and will get different responses to various forms of stimuli. Just have to keep open during these sessions to see what works best for you.

Well, it depends on what your definition of a "tool" is.

A feather stroking down a helpless, stretched out lee's bare ribscage or swirling in her underarm might be a good way to wake up the nerves and get the lee ready for the real tickling coming next, with fingertips, tongue, and teeth.

The same feather stroking gently up and down between her legs (or up and down his shaft, if you have a male lee) might be a good way to frustrate him or her and mix in sexual sensations with the ticklsh ones.

Other tools might be as simple as blindfolds or gags, or more BDSM related tools like nipple clamps. Clamps that are left on the nipples for sometime, then removed causing the blood to rush back into them and make the nipples MUCH more sensitive, could be considered tickling tools, since the newly sensitized nipples (dfepending on your lee) might now be five times more ticklish, which could send your poor lee into a shattered state of hysteria, while at the same time stirring her loins.

As my username would suggest, I am a MASSIVE advocate for the use of tools in tickling. I think the use of tools in tickling sessions is very underated. Like others have mentioned above, they are very helpful in stimulating the nerves. Personally, I really like the visual appeal of using tools...example: holding a feather up to your lee and twirling it closer and closer to their feet. For me thats the best thing about them, they create an "atmosphere" so to speak and increase the anticipation levels immensley. I agree with RobAce aswell, they add a fun element and give the session a playful tone. Tools like feathers and artists brushes are synonymous with tickling anyway, it would be a crime not to use them 😀

Very well stated! 😀 I don't think I can add much more to this <<<<----

Can I throw in a lee's opinion????

Indeed "tools" can awaken the senses! Although I find feathers to be more sensual then tickling, thats beside the point 🙂 My point is, for example, although I love the feeling of my owners fingers all over my body.... when he switches it up with fingers, hairbrush, whatever- each tool creates a different sensation (and sense im typically blindfolded) and element of surprise...

For me, it keeps things interesting... tickling is a personal thing for me anyways, but tools also open many doors to exploring as well! Its great to discover new places and even those you didnt think were that ticklish! Amazing how simple things can drive a lee mad 🙂

Just a thought 🙂

Like ticklemepls said, they can make areas ticklish that aren't without tools. So for example, feathers do tickle my back but fingers don't work quite as well.

I agree I definitely think tickling tools should be used more often than just fingers. Nothing wrong with fingertips that is great as long as gentle and easy and not rough and a ler takes it slow-but something about tickle tools. It does add a visual anticipation level that can be visually and sensation wise very intense. It is neat because it varies up the different sensations and makes it unique and original and adds its own zing and own zest to it. I think that tickling tools should be used more often, not so underrated-along with playful fingertips gently tickling the lee whether bound or unbound. I also think tickle wrestling should be incorporated playfully more in tickle sessions...bondage is great but sometimes the fun is in the struggle and tickle tug of war so to speak, on getting your lee to surrender. That is half the fun least to me anyways.

But I think tickle tools along with fingertips is great and definitely should be practiced and used more-together these two factors could make a intense devastating tickle combo. Combos are always better and always great, especially tickle combos when a few tickle activities are happening at the same time.

Great thread!

While I'm mainly a fan of finger tickling, I do enjoy using tools now and then...

Feathers can be quite fun, for the lighter, more playful stuff...the primer, so to speak.

Hairbrushes rock (for the lovers of a little intensity mixed into their play...)!
I'm also a fan of stocks; incorporating steady finger tickling, mixed with intense hairbrush tickle torture, has created some awesome results.

Sonicares, and similar scrubber tools, etc. seem to work quite well too! 😀

I try to make it a point to ask everyone that I work with how each tool, bondage position, mind game, etc. impacts them...regarding intensity, etc.

Most have discussed the hairbrushes...the stocks...and the countdown mind games...

Hope everyone is doing well,

:toast:
