Ticklish, but won't tickle back

Has anyone ever been involved w/someone who was ticklish, but for some reason would never tickle you back. I recently dated this beautiful blonde who was insanely ticklish everywhere from head to toe. I tickled her constantly, and she seemed to like it, but she hardly ever tickled me back. As a 'lee this was a minor problem. Anyone ever had a gf, or bf who never tickled back?

Yep, had a male friend (just a friend mind you) who was very ticklish, but never would tickle me back unless I coaxed him to. It bugged me because I wanted someone to have a friendly non-sexual tickle with, and he never would reciprocate.

Did you tell her you liked to be tickled as well as do the tickling? Or ask her to reciprocate? I know, your initial response is probably, "it's not the same if I have to ask." However, you might be surprised at how she responds. I know personally, I consider myself primarily a 'lee. Until recently, except for a quick playful tickle here and there, I was always the one receiving the tickles. That is, until someone asked me to switch. Now I still consider myself a 'lee, but the 'ler part is growing on me.

When I was young, me and my matey used to tickle his sister's feet all the time as a forfeit or just for fun. It drove her crazy, but she wouldn't retaliate, even though she knew I as deathly ticklish.

When people tickle me I usually won't retaliate unless I know that they are superticklish and know their spots. I guess it's because I hate tickling someone and getting no reaction... that and the fact that I'm too busy giggling and squirming to think about revenge😉

I think it depends on who you're tickling. If that person has a history of bad memories of tickling torture, then they may not tickle back for fear of a tickle fight starting resulting in defeat.

I think a person who tickles back is either:

a) confident that they will win the tickle fight

or

b) Loves being tickled and welcomes the challange

Yeah. I've been DYING to tickle this girl down the hall from me and thankx to the encouragement that some of you gave me, I FINALLY DID IT!!! Turns out, she's VERY ticklish on her sides and belly. She told me her dad used to pin her down and tickle her to the point were she just blanked out, no laughing no struggling, just went into a coma like state.😱 And one time she passed out!! I've never heard of this. Has this happened to anybody?

But I told her that there is a point were you should stop, kinda made her comfortable with me, and occassionally gave her gentle pokes to get her attention instead of calling her name😛 . And she jumped and said how she was going to kill me and "no dont do that". And then the big moment...she complained that her back as hurting so I started rubbing her back for her and worked my way down to her sides and tickle her there gently for at least 10 mins. She barely stopped me!! I was soo happy!! She just squirmed and giggled a little! It was soo cute!

But now onto the question: Do you think I should continue to tickle her? Cuz I dont want her to die on me! She made it seem like torture, and she did faint and all, so I just want your opinion.

I think you should tickle a girl only as long as they know how long you are going to tickle them.

I gotta respectfully disagree here--unless it's someone like the girl above who experienced actual abuse like that.

In my limited amount of experiences, I'd say the opposite--part of the fun for me is seeing how long we can last!

If you tickeld someone and got no reaction, wouldnt that prompt them to tickle you more? and the 2nd part is my problem too

2 for me.

i've dated 2 different girls that wouldn't tickle back.
they were very to ungodly ticklish, and very fun to tickle, but no amount of coxing could get them to tickle me back. i begged, and offered to even stop tickling them as a form of trade off, but no dice. i had to settle for being tickled by just making love to them. which is nothing to laught at(pun intended).

Limeoutsider, I guess people who aren't ticklish are used to failed tickle attempts. Since you can't tickle them, they may have no motivation to get you back. On the other hand, two of the biggest ticklers I knew when I was a kid were not ticklish. So maybe you have just not tickled the right un-ticklish tickler.

Magic Fingers, I have a theory that explains why those we tickle rarely or never retaliate. To let a tickler get away with tickling you, one has to be submissive. I've tickled many girls in my 43 years. But not all of them put up with it. A person must be willing to take it if you're gonna have your way tickling her.

When I think about the women I've tickled the most, I realize none ever engaged me in a tickle fight. They simply took it and at the most tickled me once or twice throughout the relationship. Some of the girls may have struggled for me to stop tickling them but they still hung around for more. No matter how much I tickled them, I never lost one of those submissive ladies. 😀

My wife was like that...now that she knows that within the confines of our relationship tickling means turning me on she is more of 'ler, but usually only when she is "in the mood". Since I also enjoy non-sexual tickling it can be frustratiing to not get tickled more...but I take what I can get!
