I posted this back a ways on my myspace but I decided it would be a fun little experiment here as well.

I was born at 7:47 am, which I know some sort of plane crash occurred with that same name. I was trying to look it up, but typed 7:47 instead of '747' and a bible verse came up that said this:

Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.

My friend then typed in the time she was born and got her own little verse.

I don't follow the bible, so the purpose of this thread isn't religious, but just a way to kill the time. So type in your time of birth in a search engine and tell us your verse!

I was born at 2:06..........and got the U.S Senate website complete with the votes of each of our U.S Senators...........COOOOOL! 😀

PS. Senator Obama at the time voted YEA on the Feinstein Amendment, just in case ya'll wanted to know.

*EDIT* I've typed in 2:6 (I was born at 2:06am) and I still don't get a Bible verse. Weird.

Revelations 20:15

If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake
of fire.

Yargh, I was destined to burn.

Matthew 11:29 (New International Version)

29Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Rev 3:12

He that overcometh, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go out thence no more: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God, and mine own new name.

Acts 2:45

Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.

Romans 8:24

For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has?

John 11:54 Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews; but went thence unto a country near to the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples.

John 3:23

"And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment."

Luke 23:45 (King James Version)

45And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.

Yours could also be this little nugget: "And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs, of the first year: this was the offering of Eliasaph the son of Deuel." (Gen 7:47)

Or: "And Solomon left all the vessels unweighed, because they were exceeding many: neither was the weight of the brass found out." (1 Kings, 7:47)

🙂

Mark 9:50 - "Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can you make it salty again? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with each other."

So, essentially, you've either got it, or you've lost it. 😀

Edit: Oooh, I got a false dichotomy as well, do I get a prize?
Luke 9:50 - "And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us."

Oh my, you detective, you. I didn't even see those.
