Tips for controlling laughter volume?

So, I don't live in a house by myself nor with my girlfriend, nor does she live by herself. And I feel like a lot of people are in this situation. How do you keep the world of housemates or next door hotel/motel neighbors from hearing the loud loud (we're loud) loud screams of laughter? Neither of us are too fond of gags, though handkerchiefs have worked in the past. But definitely no ball gags or anything.

Back when I was still very concerned about my roommates overhearing laughter from my room, I would hold a pillow over my face and try to laugh into it as much as possible when getting tickled. I'm actually just now realizing that even though I have roommates again, I don't think I've taken any effort to keep the noise down. And they've never said a thing. It's nice to not have to be too concerned with this issue. I'm certainly a proponent for hearing laughter without volume control.

Someone posted in another thread started about Hotel rooms and tickling, and suggested asking to be put in a room with no guests on either side, saying the reason is for a party or get-together or something. My other suggestion is to perhaps find a bed and breakfast or something. I recently booked one, and I asked before I booked for info on how busy they were going to be, and let them know I wanted to have a secluded romantic weekend...they got the drift 😀. Me and my sugah 🙂bwahaha:...I like that word) stayed at a B&B for 5 days. I could not have controlled my volume if I wanted to . So don't pick a spot where everybody goes all the time. Find a nice little place, and ask them for a time when they may have no other guests. Not one morning did these people treat me funny because I was hysterically laughing till as late/early as 5 am. They were very sweet and never complained once or gave me any odd looks. Other than that, maybe you should go camping...if you tickle your girlfriend in the woods, with no one else to hear it, does it still make a sound? Yes ...but the trees won't complain 😀

A former partner of mine (boy, would I like to tickle her one more time!) and I used to arrange tickle sessions in the middle of the night. We lived in a house with several others, and to muffle the laughter, my partner would lie on her stomach and laugh into her pillow (this was especially important during side-tickling, her most explosive area). Eventually, I had to tie her feet down because she made a lot of noise while kicking, too. We'd set the alarm, tickle and make love for an hour or so, and go back to sleep. I'm pretty sure no one ever knew.

If it's not the middle of the night you could always blare the volume on some music or the tv to sort of camouflage the noise...or you can just not care!!!! I mean, if someone hears you then you can always just say, oh yeah, i was tickling so-and-so...they don't have to know it was for fetish reasons.

I laugh really loud but TMJ's neighbors haven't complained yet...

Oh I remember one time my ex was tickling me. We were in his bedroom and even with the music on my laughter was still heard, seeing as he forgot to shut the bloody window and when we went outside in the garden afterwards I was red in the face after seeing a number of grinning faces from his family members.

As i told elsewhere, i already had a small issue with noise in an hotel 🙂 🙂 🙂 it came too close of a 3rd degree encounter for my taste.

But eventually we got quite and the guy gave up and went to bed 😀 And the fun was over at 3 something am....aaaaahhh who the hell wants to sleep on a saturday night with so many nice things do do? 😉

Usually, like others have said, i tend to get the tv louder. But when it goes all night long....then the tv is just an added problem 🙂

A soft cloth gag is much more comfortable than a ball gag, so give that a try. 😀

I think Control still rents out the "cone of silence" for matters of national security. 😉 Pillows do work well. Springing for breakfast out for all but two is not a bad idea either.
