Vince and Bret talked, and then they did the whole "raiding each others hands" and then Vince kicked him in the balls. I thought for sure Austin was going to show up, Vince would say "Get 'em Steve" and he'd turn around and give Vince a stunner. Over all another uneventful night of wrestling. TNA can go back to Thursday Nights, and be greatful SmackDown is on Fridays now.

Thanks for the update. so it just ended up with vince kicking him in the balls? i suppose vince would want to come on on top in this situation. TNA was so so from what i saw. the Angle/AJ match was pretty good. lots of stars for sure, but nothing earth shattering. i think RAWS rating will be safe.

Those are important factors, but TNA had another great moment and the blew it. I am sure that alot of people flipped from one to the other just to see who was doing what. Joe Vs Abyss 2 years ago would have been a big deal, but now it doesn't mean shit. Angle vs AJ Styles was probably the best match they had (though I admit I missed the first half of both shows), but again Angle isn't what he was 2-3 years ago either. The truth is that TNA pissed away 90% of what made them special, and have been trying to replicate the WWE shortly after they got on spike.

I've said it a million times, and I will say it a million more. Nobody beats McMahon at his own game, you have to do you own thing and hope that being different will get you noticed. Why would a fan watching WWE want to watch TNA if they are doing the same thing, and worst of all not as well. They had some of the most talented people I have seen since WCW was at it's peak (Cruiser Weight Divition that it) and their story lines weren't half bad, because most of it was told in the ring. Now it's a mess, and if it stays on Monday Nights it will die a painful death from Raiting's Cancer, and McMahon will have a 100% monopoly in the wrestling biz.

It's probably an opening for the Hart Dynasty to go after Vince. There was nothing special about anything tonight. You would have expected a Hogan/Orndorf cage match type of moment, but then they don't have anybody like those guys anymore. Theres no Bulldogs/Hart Foundation, no Savage/Steamboats, Flair/Funks, the good old days are in the good old past. So long as people support this shit, McMahon will just sit back and count his money.

Like WCW and ECW had back in the day, TNA had better wrestling(with a near 5 star match with AJ vs Angle) and great match with Pope vs Wolfe

WWE had the better story but that only amounted to the first 10 and last 10 minutes of the show.

WCW was good but the NWA before it was the Zenith of wrestling. When the NWA had separate territories like Mid south , World Class Championship Wrestling, Central States wrestling, Jim Crockett Promotions, and Championship wrestling in Florida

The entire industry was better back during the old territory days. If a guy got stale someplace the promoter would just trade him to another promoter for a different guy. Then in came Vince, out went the territories and everything sucks now.

ECW was shit, even if they had good-great wrestlers. Who the fuck wins a match putting a guy through a table. Absolute BS, and to win a title that way is about as dumb ass as dumb ass gets. Chain Match, Ladder Match, Submission Match, I can understand those gimmick, but a tables match. PLEASE! The dumest idea of all time.

Well ofcourse. Overall it pales in comparison, esp with AWA, NWA, Mid South, GWF and others. I am discussing modern times

In Modern times, WWE/F failed match wise but went to the shock story value. WCW and ECW always had better matches but they then went away from that since they felt they needed to shock as well

That kiss my foot match was based around an angle, and nobody won or lost a title. In fact if I remember correctly you didn't lose the match if you kissed the other persons foot, Lawler had to kiss his foot because he lost. It was a stipulation that was meant to "humble the loser" like the old hair cut match or the mask vs. mask in Mexico or Japan. So I guess you're the one who, AGAIN, doesn't know what he's talking about. I've never seen a match where somebody won a match simply by hitting there opponent with a chair, and even a so called Hardcore match (or strap match) tends to involves a pin fall or submissions to win, so yet AGIAN you are wrong, like you are ALWAYS wrong.

When exactly did Bret Hart tag with a midget? I remember at Mania 3 Bundy and Hillbilly Jim did, and it was meant as comedy relief part way through the show. It didn't involve a title, and it added to Bundy's heel status when he squashed Little Beaver. So unless you have some proof I would have to call you wrong AGAIN.

ECW sucked, Paul Haymen made no money doing it, and all the good talent in on his roaster left as soon as they got job offer from somebody who's cheques wouldn't bounce. Don't get me wrong, I respect Haymen as a creative force, but any promotion that would hire a talent free Dbag like New Jack to work for them was doomed to fail from day one.

Whether or not TNA won monday night they will win in the end. Shane has walked away from the company, Linda is going into the political circle and Stephanie wasn't really ever in the mix.

That being said, bringing in Jeff Hardy was about the only good thing i saw on TNA. Flair was a surprise and the rest was just lame. Pretty much just Hogan's old buddies from the NWO and the nasty boys.
