LOL Seriously Q, I can't stand the Christmas season. It's only benefit from my POV is that I get paid more when I'm rostered to work on days like Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Thanksgiving is probably the best idea for a universal public holiday that I can think of. Let's face it, a good dose of focusing on what is GOOD in your life does no-one any harm. Shall we start a "bring Thanksgiving to the UK" thread? 😀

I'm ever so proud of you, Red. You ALMOST sounded sincere. Stop that. You know it makes me ill! You'd think a limey would appreciate Thanksgiving. Food, beverage, sports, and a chance to be sincere about and mock emotion at the same time. Who could ask for more? 😛

Q! I can't believe you don't find intrinsic value in holidays. I always do some of my most thorough and creative work when I'm supposed to be "relaxing." Hmmmm then again, with this attitude, I'll never be a gazillionaire like you. 😉

I spent a day with family, then I moved along onto more fun pursuits! Renn Faires are yummy!
