What does it take for someone to go up to you and tickle you randomly if you know you present yourself as a tough guy? Have people in your life tried to tickle you still? How do you react, do you get mad if they do? Or are they intimidated to? Are you tolerant but secretly really ticklish? Where are you generally ticklish and how hard do they have to be to get it to tickle?

Well I wouldn't consider myself a tough guy 😛 Most people know me more as the shy reserved type, not very touchy feely. I shall still give my thoughts though. 🙂 I have been tickled and poked by co-workers both male and female. Since I saw most of them coming, it didn't tickle. My body is even less responsive and ticklish when guys do it because it is a sexual thing to me and when guys do it, my body doesn't respond. If they did tickle me, I would always take it as a joke or a bit of fun if it is just amongst friends. If an attractive girl did it, or like a time when a girl I liked poked and tickled me, I would enjoy it. 🙂 I actually tried to make my ticklishness more obvious to get her to do it again, but alas it did not work. 🙁 I would honestly be more concerned with people finding out about my fetish. I am mostly ticklish in the usual places, like my sides, underarms and feet. I am also very ticklish on the back of my neck. But if it is done right, neck tickles feel amazing! Just like a massage. If someone tickles me to hard it just scratches and hurts so I would have to say that slow, soft & lite tickling works best on me. I hope this is what you were looking for! I don't consider myself the tough type as well. By I have been portrayed as the serious type. I've had women attempt to tickle me, and showed no reaction due to the fact I know it wouldn't last long. 2-3 seconds tops. One time a friend went at my stomach and I gave her an immediate reaction. It was light tickling on my stomach and I pulled away. Every now and then she'll go for it if we hang out.

Yeah, i'm talking muscle men sort of tough guys. lol I would think they would need a bit more rough handling in order for it to tickle, but it's ...tough. lol. or they play it off or hide it better. lol but that's my stereotype.

Well, I am a tough guy, or so I seem that way externally. I work as a firefighter, drive a truck, go to the gym to keep in shape, go out with "the guys" a lot. Enjoy beer and bacon, that sort of stuff. But when it comes to a girl, i'm a total romantic, if I can manage to muster up the courage to talk to them. However, i am absolutely desperately ticklish.

If I was out with the guys and some girl started to tickle me, i'd try my best to fight it, i guess just out of trying to hold my own around the guys. But even then, it wouldn't matter much, I can't really fight how ticklish I am. It would just be a little embarrassing in that crowd. But personally, i'd try to get in situations where she'd tickle me again, or where I can get some revenge! Besides, it's a girl doing the tickling, so it ok and kinda hot. If the guys were getting into to tickle fights, that would just make me uncomfortable.

I think the idea is that muscular dudes seem in control at all times, and being tickled makes you a hysterical bitch, and everybody likes to watch some cocky bastard get embarrassed.

I believe you will find a common theme amongst most "tough guys." As you can see from some of the above posts, men who wish to represent themselves as dominant, masculine, alpha male, etc. will usually try to conceal any form of vulnerabilty, at least in public. To do so, would undermine the public image they wish to portray.

The act of tickling someone exposes vulnerability...which is central to what most lees or lers absolutely crave. The problem is that the vulnerability exposed by tickling diametrically conflicts with the tough guy's public image. If you want to improve the odds of making him laugh, then your best bet would be to tickle him in private where he knows people are not watching or listening to him. It is critical that he feel comfortable with the situation, otherwise he'll end up being another tickle fighter even if he really doesn't want to be.

...and when you do tickle him in this situation, you should definitely tickle him hard. That's what he'll need. You have to break through that toughness barrier so you can access the gooey part inside. 😀

I'm not sure, people usually are intimidated by me so I think touching me would be the last thing on their mind. Although, as you can see, I by no means hide my "vulnerability", women tend to like ticklish "tough" guys.

If we are talking about a truly "random" tickle it has happened exactly once in my adult life. It was in a crowded hot yoga class and the lovely yogini in front of me was so close that she playfully reached overhead a few times to tickle my feet when we were in close proximity poses. I don't know if I am ready to fully attribute the fact that this is my only random tickle to me being a badass or not😉

To answer your other questions. In that context my reaction was to love it and definitely not be mad. As for tolerance, I wish I could have held still a bit longer, but I had to pull my feet away from her pretty quickly or risk a LOL in the middle of class. Generally ticklish? Plenty. How hard? Not very, since light tickles work great on my soles.

I was a bouncer at a club and I did the whole arms crossed gorilla stare when I'd work the dance floor and a couple times through my time working there is have women come up and poke me or tickle my sides to make me laugh. It worked

I always present myself as a tough guy because I am! 😛 I will not admit to being ticklish.. I hung with a girl one time who insisted that she could break me. Of course, I laughed in her face! When she strapped me up and straddled me, I remained cocky. As soon as she started to tickle my upper body I started to fall apart.. The harder she tickled the more I started to break.
