You have to write the password "kocho" in the open space down from C_121904.zip のダウンロード and on the next page click the link "Click here to start download". Download should start shortly.

Currently translated version - short. Super short infact. Not as short as the first release of the Tower of Gargalesis short, since this has several maps and dialogue, but still quite short lol.

I do like the Skill Up function, as well as the skills creating battle events (mostly battle finishers that involve tickling). And unlike ToG, you don't have the "enemies level up with you and can kick your arse" mechanic, so it's more productive to level grind. Looking forward to the next update 🙂

So Candycane, are you translating these by yourself? If you'd be up to it, maybe you could get with the other translators and help out on translating our other games too!
It would sure help and speed up the process of something like Labyrinth of Laughter; that game is very behind.

This game was OK. I liked how the creator mixed tickling with real life battles. For example, against enemies like bats, slimes, general monsters and the such, you beat by the norm JRPG standard. For enemies that are ticklish (all female 😛), you weaken them, tickle them, and replenish energy from that.

I didn't like how Venus was portrayed though. I think i remember her being really evil in the other TOG game. Everything was practically afraid of her and stayed away. In this game, she has friends, a light comic attitude, etc. In this game, her tickling leaves the enemy exhausted and unconscious. the other one, it practically kills.

The game, in its original language, is incomplete.

The playable part is done being translated. If you download the original Japanese version, you'll notice that the game freezes the game when you talk to the quest-giver NPCs.

I had issues continuing from game saves (an error finding the Save script), so I swapped the older version Scripts with the new. Of course, this also removed the ability for me to use any of the new shops with their synthesis systems since they were written in the newer file. No big loss considering the game pretty much ended before even needing the upgrades.

The dialogue after the Mayor's event was full of squares, as well as an item or two I found either in the cave or the capital. Don't know if that was due to the Script file swap or not.

Still, was an enjoyable, though very short game while it lasted. Thank you so much Candycane for all the work you did translating, and to Lurka for his assistance. 🙂

Don't know if the creator is working on the project anymore, so this looks to be all we'll ever get. Still, a nice homage to Deus and ToG.

Just got it. It's pretty freaking short, but very nice. The mechanics of it are good and pretty complex. Plus I love the bellybutton tickling it in 🙂. I was actually pretty surprised at how much it has for just this short part. I really hope the game is completed some day.

BTW, the scene right after Alarune is tickled and before she appears in the room isn't translated. Either that or it uses text I don't have.

That's about as far as the game goes, sadly. You can roam around the cave outside of town, find a few items and level up. Nothing more.
