Trained to be not ticklish???

So yesterday, I was at a local kink event and met a cute, punk girl whom I started talking with. She asked me what my interest was and I told her all about the tickling kink. She had never heard of the kink, but seemed to be cool with it, though she, herself said that she used to be beyond super ticklish...but that her last master had broken her of it. Curious (and liking a challenge), I asked her if I could try and tickle one of her feet. To my surprise, she said yes. She immediately sat down, removed her boot and sock, and presented me with her pale, baby-soft foot. When I touched it, there was an initial twitch, but after that, nothing. She went on to explain that her feet especially had been way too ticklish and was glad that she wasn't bothered by it anymore.

She did say that if she was tied up and more helpless feeling that the outcome might be different.

Has anybody run into this?

It is. I think thats what happening to me. But the worst part is you can't reverse it... 🙁

you can...a college classmate of mine used to be not ticklish...and after a couple weeks, she was scared to be barefoot around me..still is, to this day...LMAO

If there was an initial twitch, I believe it has to do with self-control and not actually not being ticklish!

I've had two opposite instances with this. I dated this cute tiny girl for over a year and if you caught her off-guard, she was off the charts ticklish, but if you tried to tie her down, she could totally control it! Errrrrrr!!! One time, I got her in that position where you are laying side by side with one of her arms under your head and one of your hands holding her other arm high above her head with your legs around hers rendering her pretty much helpless I suddenly tickled her pit and she went bonkers so bad that she banged her heels so hard on the floor she hurt them. Kinda spoiled it then. Then there was this other gal I dated for some time who wasn't the least bit ticklish on her feet, (my fav), but after some persistence, she suddenly became crazy ticklish on them. ????? Go figure. Of course, I took full advantage of this new found "problem" of hers. Her pits were always super ticklish, so even before the feet came around, I could still have fun! 😉

It's not that she is not ticklish anymore, but that he has trained her to experience the sensation in a different way. In this case its been moved from tickling to 'blank'.

Its a mental trick. Often a slave is taught to enjoy specific pain actions through it.

I can turn it off due to either: A) i'm worried, nervous or something is bothering me, and B) I feel very uncomfortable with the person i'm with.

I can see where being not as ticklish if you're being tickled by someone you're uncomfortable with. I've always felt that how ticklish you are is 95% in your head. If I've been tickling a gal that was very comfortable around me and just being silly and playful, she would usually be wicked ticklish. If I was trying to tickle someone that wasn't really comfortable around me, no matter how ticklish she might be, she would be more concerned with the situation rather than being ticklish. The mind is a powerful thing!

Check out Andy Griffith's biography. He trained himself not to respond to tickling when he was in grade school to keep from being tortured. It was how he started acting.
