Trying something new (F/F)

Hi everyone,

Been lurking for a while now, but here's a drawing I made (Inkscape and good ol' mouse). I would have liked to add better clothing, so that I could somehow legitimize this situation with a backstory. Well, I guess it's up to you to be creative 🙂

Criticisms, suggestions or tips for improvement would help me a lot!

wow great work, I can't see why you didn't post earlier, this is really really good! First off i LOVE how you included depth of field to the piece, making the background out of focus like that really makes the girls in the foreground pop out and it add an asthetic quality to the piece. Second, you're uber with the mouse, there are so few people who can make great things freehand with the mouse and this piece is no exception. I really like how you rendered the shadows and highlights, the piece has an almost 3d quality to it, made even more apparent with the out of focus background. Awesome work!

😀 Thanks for the compliments, guys, I definitely feel a lot more comfortable here than I would've expected. To be fair, it's somewhat intimidating when you see some of the stellar artwork being posted here.

Some of the drawing tutorials around here are pretty helpful though! Gonna try to start something new tonight; hopefully I can improve.
