Thanks, Stockstickler. They _could_ be lethal, I'm sure, but I
don't use them to draw blood, or anything!
Betchass, these are quite a bit more solid than banjo picks,
and they are not adjustable, but were sized to fit the tips
of my fingers (so they don't fit everyone). I've seen the
Banjo picks, tho, and they seem pretty effective!
And Chameleon.. Oddly enough, people seem more afraid of
me without them on. And the nails are asked after in certain
circles.
I have to say that there are lots of similar alternatives out
there (from Banjo picks to elaborate ones which are huge,
have a "scratchy" finger pad area, and sometimes very artistic
sculpting on the back, but these were priced right at the
time, and have been very durable. They can be re-sharpened
to some extent, and are bleachable (which does turns the
silver black, but it's polishable, so that's ok)
And to keep this on track, here's one last photo, which is of my
friend's German Shephers and my feet. She likes to like them,
which might be torture, if I were ticklish!
