Yeah, he sure did stick up for woman.🙄

OK, the rest of what you wrote lost integrity too. S'much for the chance I was taking. Back to my world.

Joby
Ven, do you realize how long it took me to stop giggling before I could post! You're rotten! 😛

Joby, bad choice of 2pac lyrics to show he was "slamming" women. read the lyrics again. that is from his song "Hit em' up". he is speaking about Notorious BIG, not women. what is a good way to insult your rival. by claiming you had sex with his wife......

2pac did come out with a song called "Wonder why they call u bitch?". pretty much explains why he calls "certain" women bitches.

hell, Ice Cube had a song from WAAAAAAAAAAAAY back called "A bitch is a bitch." again, those lyrics explain why they call "certain" women bitches.

whether 2pac is alive or dead, you do have to admit, he can cause a LOT of news. even in "death". as for the autopsy pitcures. i heard they were fake. this reporter who claims she knows 2pac is dead, i just have on epoint to make. was she there when he "died", or is she just getting her information from a 3rd party. she never saw the body herself. the people giving her the "pictures" could be in on a plot. too crazy to believe? let's not talk about the Kennedy assasination🙄

i dont know if 2pac is alive or dead. but he sure has a lot more albums out AFTER his death, than before it. plus, there is way too much symbolism in his work. i dont think he would write his lyrics that way. what? if he is dead, then he obviously didnt know when he would die when he was alive. yet, when he is alive he is talking about resurrection. seems kind of wierd. his first album as Makaveli even says "exit 2pac, enter Makaveli". seems too coincidental that he "dies" right when this album is released. Makaveli is the name of a guy who faked his death. strange coincidence.....

nobody really knows if he is dead, except for 2pac himself. no one can really say for sure. i am not going to believe some reporter.... one more sidenote, his mother never cashed out his life insurance policy. strange, isnt it? perhaps because you cant cash a policy on someone who is alive. think about it.....

Who's black where and who's white here? I mean, until you get outed, how do you/I/we/they really know? Shiznet, for all I know all you guys' responses are being generated by HAL 9000 somewhere and I'm just typing to myself & the TMF is a big elaborate joke on me by my former nerd friend Richard Floyd who stopped liking me around Jr. High and this is his way of messing with me from his cubicle (or the slammer). Go to hell, Richard!

Keep in mind the Sex Pistols have released more albums out than Tupac and Sid Vicious died in '79.... Elvis is still releasing stuff, as are Mirvana & The Beatles and their albums DID have clues about Paul being dead. 'Cept for the small detail that he wasn't. Conversely, there are still people expecting Andy Kaufman to come back - even his Las Vegas entertainer alter ego was still performing AFTER he'd died....

Is Kennedy coming back? John or Bobby?

A reporter didn't see his body? The EMS staff, police investiators and his bodyguards that failed at their duty did. If he died on the 3rd, 7th or 19th day, he's dead. You don't come back.

Machieveli was a midevel Italian philosopher who wrote "The Prince".

Anyway, has anyone seen the movie yet?

Prime,

You may have a point there. But, what I've shown you is that the music is not standing alone. I don't have a history of the man's personal agffairs. I listen to music for music's sake. It loses value to me if it can't inspire me without all the hoopla crap that MTV spews.

One other thing you may need to take note of here...

You said,
what is a good way to insult your rival. by claiming you had sex with his wife......

Actually, that's just a good way to make yourself look like an arrogant, uneducated juvenile who has no respect for women, marriage, or family. It undermines a union and glorifies adultry. It makes the person with "bragging rights" appear to be a selfish fool. That's what that is! That's not justification to show how he is not "slamming" women. It IS a slam. Don't you dig that, man?

ANYTIME a man calls a woman a HO or a BITCH or talks about her as an object that he can "fuck" and leave in the dirt, it's disrespectful and certianly is not "taking up for" them. That a "artist" has to be so demeening toward women is beyond me. It's sad, pathetic and unnecessary. You can talk about cultural bias- you can talk about literary license- you can talk about any aspect of life, but it doesn't justify a man talking about women like pieces of fecal matter and setting it to music. What's worse is that boys hear it and buy it thinking it's "ok."

The way I see it, rap does a disservice to any man that likes it who also expects to be viewed with respect from women. Live with it. It may have redeeming aspects, but the lows it reaches with regard to women more than undo them.

That's just MY view on his music. Dead or alive doesn't matter to me. In my opinion, to stay on topic....if he is dead, it's just a shame his music didn't follow him to the grave.

I see women as objects I can tickle. But that's just my background and envirenment. Whoomp - there it is!

well, keep in mind that i never claimed Mr. Shakur was a saint. far from it. he lived the "thug" lifestlye and had to reap whatever consequences that followed with it.

as for his insults towards Notorious BIG. again, saying that he had sex with his wife IS a good way to get back at your rival. no one said it is the RIGHT thing to say, but if you want to piss off a rival, saying that will serve the purpose.

please be clear that i have never condoned 2pac's actions. but, the man has also made POSITIVE contributions. everyone gets hung up on this "thug" lifestlye, but yet he makes songs like "dear Mama", and "Keep your head up". but those songs are never talked about, only the "negative" songs.

as for the word bitch. i do not agree with you that anytime a man calls a woman a bitch, it's a bad thing. there are women out there who truly are the definition of a bitch. like Ice Cube said in a song, "now the title bitch dont apply to all women...". if a woman decides to be disrespectful herself, then she DESERVES to be called a bitch. men are generally called assholes if they are disrespectful, so women can be called bitches as well. HOWEVER, just because a rapper calls a woman a bitch, most of the time, he is NOT refering to ALL women. it is certain women. again, since you decided to look up some 2pac song lyrics, look up the song by 2pac called "wonder why they call you bitch." read THOSE lyrics.

you never see rappers calling a well educated, intelligient, has a sense of direction, takes care of herself, beautiful woman a bitch. they are usually see them refering to women who have no self respect for themselves, who will give it up for anyone, and lie, cheat, and gold dig on them. a woman is called a bitch because the person calling them that feels the woman did something wrong to them.

again, i never condone 2pac's thug actions. as for your quote, "The way i see it, rap does a disservice to any man that likes it who also expects to be viewed with respect from women.", I AM respected by women because i treat them right, not because i dont listen to rap. my music tastes have nothing to do with my personality. i like 2pac's songs, and many other rap songs. i doubt all of the sudden women are not going to respect me JUST because i listen to 2pac. if a woman does that, then she isnt worth my time.

for Oddjob, Elvis is releasing BRAND NEW music? if he is, he damn sure isnt leaving clues that he may be alive. 2pac is leaving a bunch of lyrics that talk about his resurrection. why would a man talk about resurrection if he is NOT dead? again, 2pac may be very well dead. but you have to admit, there is room for doubt.

Odd, now THAT was funny.

By the way, Prime....belive what you need to believe to sleep with your conscience clear at night. "You're judged by the comapny you keep" as the old saying goes, and things which identify your tastes and choices. It's how the world perceives you.

Joby

good point, however, the same can be said about people who like heavy metal, rock, country, pop, jazz, classical, so on and so forth. if people judge other from their music tastes, then something is wrong. people know what kind of music i listen to, but they still view me as a well-educated, respectful, all around "nice" guy. am i going around saying things that 2pac is saying or living his lifestyle? no. in fact, there is this running joke at my job that they cant believe that i listen to rap music. people form their opinion on how i ACT, not what music i listen to.

again, i challenge you to look up the lyrics of that on eparticular song. you're quick to judge lyrics on one song, but dont want to take the time to read his other works. read the lyrics to "Dear Mamma", "Keep ya head up" and "wonda why they call u bitch". then make your point.

what about Eminem? he goes through the same type of stuff, but yet, he does have work that is simply amazing. example of this is the song "Lose Yourself."

and yes, my conscience is VERY clear.

you know what else is amazing? how ONE man can cause so much discussion......

I thought Tupac was brilliant. If you watch some of his early interviews, he was a very intelligent guy. His death was very mysterious, and I honestly don't know what is going to happen...I'll tell you this much though, I will be going to see Resurrection.

Milli Vanilli, Hitler, Vanilla Ice, The Washington Snipers and Justin Timberlake all cause a lot of discussion too.🙄 As amatter of fact, to stay with topic.... so did the "Justin meets Kelly" movie that came out this summer. It boggles the mind how much importance one can place on a thug who disrespects half the human race! 🙄

Joby, who thinks this dead horse has enough bruises.

Jo Ur the typical rap hater, just admit ok? BTW Tupac:Ressurection 1 more day will he Resurrect in legacy? or Physcial? Prime did u get the Soundtrack yet im tellin u.. I read some more lyrics like Dear Mama,If i die 2nite and keep ya head up. This guy was a great poet!

You rapper fans..........

....how do you pick your dentist? I know a really great one, he has not the faintest idea about dentistry, never been to college, but he has a marvelous collection of hand guns and a string of criminal convictions to make your mouth water. He is totally incompetant in his chosen proffession but, hey! he looks great with all those tatoos and he has tremendous "attitude" he treats women like house pets and has chronic turrettes syndrome. You guys want his number?

Hey give me a break Krazy.........

........I told you I drive an American car, and I am a jazz musician (you know, the ones who actually play instruments?) and I have number of very good U.S. friends. I have spent most of my life admiring many things about the U.S. and I hope to be paying you a visit in the new year.

No new music from Elvis post-death that I know of, just occasional new releases from The Sex Pistols, Nirvana, The Beatles, John Lennon (solo), Lynard Skynard, Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros, The Doors, Roy Orbison, Tex Ritter, Frank Zappa and whoever else I'm leaving out. I'll bet we'll be hearing from Johnny Cash as well. There's always box sets or retrospectives featuring never-released tracks and what not featuring either the original artist or hired sound-alikes (Paula Abdul got involved with a lawsuit involving that same thing years ago and she was alive!). The resurection question I don't even understand.

The music coming out now is most likely unreleased material and outtakes (that should be clear since - as an artist - he has had nothing substantial to say about current topics and events since 1996. There is nothing distinct, timewise, about what's being released currently; ergo, everything coming out now could have been recorded pre-1996). Record company execs know that dead artists with a legend surrounding them sell as much as living artists - known it for decades. By releasing all the unreleased stuff at once they lose potential money; however, if they milk it over the years, bouyed especially with rumors surrounding an artist, they stand to make a lot more $$$. The execs have been living really well off 2Pac for several years, and to actully "kill him off" now by ending the rumors and saying he really is dead they'd be losing a highly valuable commodity.

The remaining music is probably being created by one of those hired sound-alikes. And if he is alive and faked it all, he's ignoring the potential market he could have by pitching his music to upcoming generations who know 2Pac only as some mysterious rumor subject. There are 14-16 year olds now who are seeing these movie posters and are going "who"? It would be like us discusiing what Mary Miles Mintor did or did not really know. Then there's the entire acting career that he seemed to give up if he is indeed alive - unless he's hiding in plain sight as a Wayans brother. Music styles change while good acting is always in style, and it would seem that as a business decision, he took an incredible risk in picking the wrong thing to retire from.

And this whole messiah complex, other than living pretty well for himself, he's never done much for the greater society, unlike the good works of Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones, Russell Simmons and the Hip Hop Action Network and others (and despite thier good works, they make no messiahic claims). Worse, he scammed his fans who mourned for him, tricking them and adding more doubt into their lives in a world where there is already so much uncertainy in what to believe. He wants them to belive in him, but he isn't giving them anything to believe in; he's done the opposite, in fact, by abusing their trust. So IF he is alive I hope this stunt backfires on him spectacularly.

You have to admit, his death is all much more likely and realistic.

Heres a song where he shows his side:
Song: Brenda's Got a Baby

Brenda's got a Baby
Brenda's got a Baby

I hear Brenda's got a baby
Well, Brenda's barely got a brain
A damn shame
Tha girl can hardly spell her name
(That's not her problem, that's up ta Brenda's family)
Well let me show ya how it affects tha whole community
Now Brenda never really knew her moms and her dad was a
junky
Went in debt to his arms, it's sad
Cause I bet Brenda doesn't even know
Just cause your in tha ghetto doesn't mean ya can't grow
But oh, that's a thought, my own revelation
Do whatever it takes ta resist tha temptation
Brenda got herself a boyfriend
Her boyfriend was her cousin, now lets watch tha joy end
She tried to hide her pregnancy, from her family
Who didn't really care to see, or give a damn if she
Went out and had a church of kids
As long as when tha check came they got first dibs
Now Brendas belly is gettin bigger
But no one seems ta notice any change in her figure
She's 12 years old and she's having a baby
In love with tha molester, whos sexed and crazy
And yet she thinks that he'll be with her forever
And dreams of a world with tha two of them are together,
whatever
He left her and she had tha baby solo, she had it on tha
bathroom floor
And didn't know so, she didn't know, what ta throw away and
what ta keep
She wrapped tha baby up and threw him in tha trash heep
I guess she thought she'd get away
Wouldn't hear tha cries
She didn't realize
How much tha tha little baby had her eyes
Now tha babys in tha trash heep balling
Momma can't help her, but it hurts ta hear her calling
Brenda wants ta run away
Momma say, you makin' me lose pay, tha social workers here
everyday
Now Brenda's gotta make her own way
Can't go to her family, they won't let her stay
No money no babysitter, she couldn't keep a job
She tried ta sell crack, but end up getting robbed
So now what's next, there ain't nothin left ta sell
So she sees sex as a way of leavin hell
It's payin tha rent, so she really can't complain
Prostitute, Found Slain , and Brenda's her name, she's got a
baby

Baaaaaaaaby

(don't you know she's got a baby)
(don't you know she's got a baby)
(don't you know she's got a baby)
(don't you know she's got a baby)
(don't you know she's got a baby)
(don't you know she's got a baby

actualy check this out.........HitEmUp.Com: Would you like to tell the fans one thing they don't know about 2Pac's unreleased material or anything in general?
Dina LaPolt: Keep listenin' cause we are going to keep putting it out there!

2UNTOUCHABLE.COM: Is there many un-bootlegged tracks left for the next LP?
INTERSCOPE INSIDER: Yes!

2UNTOUCHABLE.COM: Can you please give us an estimate?
INTERSCOPE INSIDER: There are very many. Probably around 150.

2UNTOUCHABLE.COM: 150 unbootlegged Makaveli era tracks?
INTERSCOPE INSIDER: Including the ones Tupac recorded with DPG, Outkast, and his One Nation shit. Yep Somewhere around there. Give or take a few. YEAAAA!

HUGE RUMOR!

My friends said that his friend has the bootlegged version of Resurrection and he said at the end it says 777=Times Square with text on a black screen...hmmmm could it mean 7 yrs,7 monthes and 7 days after his death on 9/13/96? if so u end up with i think 4/20/04...who knows. wait lol 4:20 the national pot smokers holiday!

who knows? if 2pac does return, this will be very huge news. i doubt his fans will be upset, hell, they think he faked his death anyway. it is people who are not fans who think 2pac's fans will be upset.

the only excuses i read/hear is that the record executives are doing this for money. then why hasnt Notorious BIG had a jillion albums released after his death? sure seems like a lot of work for them to make everyone think he may be alive. the question would be why? 2pac would have sold records EVEN if he was dead. it shouldnt matter. again, i point out the 1st Makaveli album. it was done before his "death", and it has exit 2pac, enter Makaveli. Makaveli is the name of a man who advocated one to fake death to fool their enemies. there is a picture of 2pac on a cross on the cover. we all know what happened with Christ. WHY would 2pac do all this if he didnt know he was going to die? not one person has given a good reason or theory as to why. plus, 2pac has this fascination with the number 7. like Krazy put in his previous post, you see the number "777". plus he was 25 years old when he "died". 2+5=7. he was shot 7 months after his album "All eyez on me" came out. he died on September 7. he survived the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, and on the 7th day, the 13th, he "died". hell, look at the time he died. 4:03 pm. 4+3=7. he talks about the 7 day theory. that is WAY to many "coincidences". to use the word "Resurrection" is a powerful thing. that means something died, only to come to life again. again, there is way too many symbolic things out there for it to all be a big "scam" and 2pac is dead. he could very well be, but even those who doubt he is alive have to admit, there is a POSSIBLITY he may be indeed "ALIVE".

hey Krazy, i didnt get to listen to the song "Ghost", but i am sure it is tight. his music is always tight. what are your favorite songs by him anyway? my favorite 2 songs are "So Many Tears" and "Toss it up."

My fav top 5 are: Ambitionz az a ridah,Violent,Keep ya head up,No more pain, when we ride on our enemies shit lol i have wayyyyyy to many favs for just the top 5! btw isnt Easter in April??? i dont know why but if its gona happen i see it happening on Easter. but like i said the 7th year aint over till 9/13/04

HOLY SHIT!

I just got back from the movie.. it was great showed his good and bad side. but one weird thing is at the end when they start talking about his murder he says: " I got shot I always knew I would be shot but i didnt expect it at that particular moment" he also says: "Im a changed man and i forgive the people that killed me" no shit! lol ELVIS HUH? he breaths very heavy like hes missing a lung remember he shot in his lung back in 96...in most of new songs he has the same breathin prob.

I think people need to stop looking at 2-Pac's badside and look at his good-side as well. Wether certain people like it or not he was/is a VERY complicated person.
