Two Truths And A Lie

Congrats Edge C was the lie. My mom was awesome but math want her strong point. Ypur game next buddy.

New Game:
A.) My 4th grade teacher was my favorite teacher in grammar school.
B.) My 5th grade teacher was a strict nun.
C.) My 6th grade teacher was a hot 26 year old.

Nope B was true. She was an old nun that warned us she could hear the grass grow so don't try anything with her.

Mils got it. I didn't like my 4th grade teacher. My 6th grade teacher was a beautiful brunette 26 year old. I found her on facebook last year and she is now a 60 year old (still attractive) woman.
Your game next Mils.

New game:

A) I met Sandy Koufax in 1989 in Vero Beach, Florida, where he was a pitching instructor for the Dodgers.

B) I never saw Sandy Koufax pitch in person.

C) In 2006, I bought Sandy Koufax's autobiography, out of print since 1966, from a used book dealer who specialized in baseball books.

You are correct, B) is the lie.
I was in Shea Stadium on July 30th, 1964, and I saw Sandy Koufax pitch for 7 innings to a no-decision.
Koufax was removed for pinch hitter Wally Moon in the top of the 8th inning with two outs and a runner on first base. Moon doubled and drove in the tying run, getting Koufax off the hook and insuring that he wouldn't be the losing pitcher.
The Dodgers won 5-3 with two runs in the top of the 9th inning.
When the go-ahead run scored on a balk, Mets manager Casey Stengel was enraged and screamed at the umpire until he was ejected from the game.

That was the year that Shea Stadium opened. It was new, but a lousy venue for baseball, misshapen because it was also the new home of the New York Jets football team.

Your game next, Kurch. 😀

Thanks :ty:

A) My father owned Haunted clock

B) My mother lived for a short time in a haunted house

C) My father had a bad experience with a Ouija board.

Mils got it B was the lie. My mom was never in a haunted house fortunately.

Your game next Mils Congrats.

Just a lucky guess. New game:

A) I took my first computer science course in Spring Semester 1969.

B) I thought the professor who taught my first computer science course was a brilliant man.

C) My first computer science course was in FORTRAN programming.

A) and C) are both true. I took the course in the spring of my freshman year, which was spring 1969. We learned what was then a novel version of FORTRAN known as WATFIV.
