A) The first baseball game that I attended was in (old) Yankee Stadium in 1959. The Yankees defeated the Tigers.

B) The first Dodger game that I attended was in Shea Stadium in 1964. The Dodgers defeated the Mets.

C) The first minor league baseball game that I attended was in Coney Island in 2001. The Cyclones defeated the Staten Island Yankees.

My paternal grandmother lived to be 97, dying in 1983.
