I think it would be cool if a celebrity is a secret member of the TMF and probably would be honored to be listed as a tickle favorite

My personal opinion?
Absolutely they do.
Annonymously, of course.
Even those stars like Drew Barrymore & Nicole Kidman had openly admitted to liking to be tickled, would they come in here & announce to everyone who they REALLY are?
Mmm, not so much (Best Borat impression).
More than likely they ARE here but have not become members, for fear of stralkers, creeps, & extreme fans bothering them all the time.
I know most of us in here are not like that, but I'm sure there ARE a select few who cannot be trusted.
I cannot name names because I am only speculating.
It's just a general statement & I am not accusing anyone of anything, just to be clear.
It would be great, yes, to have someone like Drew or Nicole 'come out' on this forum, but the the reality is they just cannot chance it.

It would be harder to believe that they don't.
I mean celeb's are human, and some (as has already been said), have confessed to like tickling. 😎
We can only just wonder, I guess, who they really are on the forums?? 🙄

I might be wrong, but I don't think they do. Celebs that are into tickling usually belong to more private circles.

I doubt there is a secret celebrity society of tickling.

It's common, but not that common and people are people, thus uncomfortable to be open about it. Apparently there is some professional skateboarder on here that has come out as being who he says he is, claiming to have dated Paris Hilton. Hard to believe, though.

But no one's going to believe the person that goes, "Hey guys! It's me Drew Barrymore" and it's likely that while celebrities probably do come to sites like this, they don't post, or if they do, it's under an alias.

I'm pretty sure Howard Stern has been here a few times...

...why am I hearing crickets? 😵

I've said it before, I'll say it again...

I'm at odds with myself over this one...

...on the one hand, of course there are wonderfully delicious celebrities that we love to indulge our fantasies with, but on the other hand, it's like, what if they're just like us, ya know? They're just people with high-profile jobs, so everybody knows them, but imagine how creepy it'd feel to read about people talking about you like this if they came here. Have I got a mental list of favorites? Of course! Duh! But I'd be a little skeeved out if I read something about me, I think, if I were them. I dunno. Hard to know HOW people would take it. Some might actually be flattered. Who knows?

And I always pity that celebrities have their private lives dragged out for all of us to see in the media. Such a shame they can't come down from Olympus, and party with us mere mortals. Wouldn't it be a blast if we could invite them to private parties and have their privacy respected? Maybe even get to know them as (gasp!) PEOPLE!?! How freakin' awesome would that be? But can never happen, for all the obvious reasons.

It took me a while to de-lurk, and I'm certainly nobody famous.
Imagine how hard it would be for a celeb??

So does that mean we can start calling you Eva (Longoria) lol 😛

I'm in 100% agreement with Dan. It would be rather awesome if big time celebs could just socialize with the rest of us peasants, but noooo, some weirdo always has to ruin it for everyone else by obsessing and stalking and just being generally creepy.

Personally, I wouldn't treat celebrities any differently. Nicole, Drew, whoever, male or female. They are still people, after all. Granted, I'd like to hear all about their job, I'm sure it's a whole hell of a lot more interesting than mine, but at the same time, I'm sure they'd only be hanging out with me so they can forget about their occupation in the first place!

Get something to drink or eat, chitchat, go bowling, hit a club, something...they're still people and I would still want to get to know them and be comfortable around them, as a friend.

Has to be some...

... the law of averages is in favore of there being a few celebs that come here, maybe they are members, maybe they aren't. However with a membership of... what... 40,000 or so I think, it's hard to believe that their aren't a few famous folk here. Tylen Buck of WCW fame joined for a short time, unfortunetly it was just to promote her site, and not from the heart :disgust:

Well, celebrities are human, and I'm sure they all browse around on the net. So, it's not that unheard of that some of them may have come around. Of course, they wouldn't reveal themselves. But really, they couldn't. Who would believe them? And if people did believe them, or they could prove who they really were somehow, the PMs they would get would surely drive them away.

The one reason that our compatriot, co-racer, (retired racing driver), and team owner Paul Newman ever got thoroughly enchanted with us bunch of crazy folks in the Sports Car Club of America, is that we did not fawn over him. We treated him just like every other participant at the race weekends. We expected him to get sweaty and dirty, just like the rest of us, and we treated him as an equal (even if a pretty talented equal). [He did collect a raft of trophies during his racing career]

We judged him on his results and driving experience only, not a bit on his H'wood star quality. We respected that desire of his to just remain a quiet sort of regular membership within our group, and we respected his need for relative anonymity when he was doing his amatuer and then into his professional racing career.

I don't know if any film celebrities could ever create the same undercover infiltrations of our polite tickle community today. But it really ought not to matter all that much. We're a community of tickle fans before we surmised about celebrities, and we'll always be a group of tickle afficianados, whether we've got Hollywood backing or not. Just my ruminations.

I think it really sucks that just someone is famous they can't be "normal." I mean sure, there are certain people who, if I saw them out in public I'd be like "wow look it's so-and-so" and I'd probably end up staring a little longer than would normally be polite, but damn I wouldn't go following them around or asking for autographs. I'd certainly go home and call all my friends and say "omg guess who i saw!" lol but that's it. Honestly, I feel really bad for famous people who are constantly in the tabloids, and, like you all have said, could never participate in something like NEST for fear of becoming the complete center of attention and having some crazy fanatic stalk them. I don't know how many people heard about this, but a crazy fan who was obsessed with Sandra Bullock tried to run her husband (boyfriend? whatever) over with her car because he told her to go away!! She said that more than once they would wake up and see this crazy woman LYING ON THE GROUND IN FRONT OF THEIR GARAGE! People are freakin crazy man.

Anyways, now that I think I've finished my ramble, yeah I think celebs come here, why wouldn't they? They all have the internet like everyone else, and with how many famous people there are out there, there must be a bunch who are into tickling. Do I think they'll ever be like "hey it's me!" nope, for a few reasons 1.) alot of us get more PM's than we'd rather just because we make a post that says we're ticklish (imagine that!) so saying "hi i'm a celeb and i'm into tickling"...nuff said. 2.) they probably want to make friends with people on here like the rest of us do, based on common interests and compatability, not their celeb status. and the third and final, 3.) no one would believe them anyways. Watch...

Hi guys I'm Drew Barrymore. I love this site! I read the stories some of you wrote about me and I'm really flattered. You guys love me! You really really love me!

Did anyone believe that??? Nope..didn't think so.

Anyways, super incredibly long nonsensical rambling. What do you expect at 5am?

p.s. TicklishGiggle, I love your "judge me" pic 🙂

Personally, I think some do frequent this forum but their identity will never be made known to anyone here.

More likely, they simply find people who are into what they're into, in the same social circles, or else they pay someone for it. Seriously.

I would be quite surprised to find the likes of Drew or Nicole here, even as lurkers. Their every move is watched and scrutinized, by legitimate press, hangers-on, and tabloid hounds alike. When you consider their looks, money, fame, and fanbases, I'm sure that such individuals have no trouble getting in any "fetishy kicks" they might have without our assistance 😉

Now, forget the A-list celebrities; if you start moving down through the alphabet, I'm sure we'll run into a few who might be members here, but as Giggle said, likely posting under an alias if they even post at all. With a few exceptions, such as the aforementioned skateboarder.

And there are always the less well-known celebrities who are much respected within their fields. We have musicians and novelists amongst us, etc.

Of course there are celebs here! Me, for starters. Hehe! Nah. Just kidding. I think there may be celebs here, that would be cool. I think there are alot of infamous people just in our community, here, online- which is wicked awesome. What makes it better... is none of them, at least not the ones I've been aquainted with aren't snooty. 😀

Big Smiles!

In that case , I'd like to say 'hi' to Angelina Jolie & list her as a 'tickle-favorite'! :wavingguy

I have absolutley no doubt that celebs visit this site. Just because they are very good at what they do does not mean they are any different in "mind-state" then the rest of us here. Naturally, they will never reveal themselves, but that is just being smart and protecting their investment!!!

When I was running the HotelTickle website, we had a couple contacts from some well knowns. (don't ask...I will never say!) Now the one I can say that contacted us was Gloria Pall! And ya know the sad part is the lady wrote a book about her tickling experience in one of the earliest and best known tk mainstream scenes ever, and the tk community hardly responded to it or her! She even joined the AMT at one time and people accused her of just trying to make a buck off her tickling book.

Makes ya wonder how the celebs would really get treated around these parts at times?

peace out,
daddy

The main reason celebs would be reluctant to join this site and make themselves known would be for the simple reason that if the press got wind of it they would know doubt make a big deal out of it making them out to be weird...Its those sort of stories that can damage careers...although to be fair there are much weirder fetishes/disturbing ones than ours.

Thought I answered a thread like this not too long back.

The answer is yes. Several.

After all is said and done, I kind of think that the idea of celebrities being on here is kind of cool.

Unless it's Rod Stewart. 😡

I'm not that surprised really and although I would never ask you to reveal there identities. But I am curious do they reveal there identities to you? or do you figure these things out yourself via other means i.e. during registration to the forums.
