Apparently she tipped hot porridge on herself when she was a toddler...it sounded horrific but she doesn't remember it luckily!

Thank goodness she doesn't remember it - it's probably like a roux burn, what folks here in Louisiana get sometimes, cooking all that gumbo. That roux gets searing hot, but it's thick, so if it burns you, it doesn't just
pour away quickly, it sticks and burns....OUCH!!!!! ..and it scars, I know at least three people who have roux burn scars, usually on the hands after a splash.
