I was seeing a girl for about two months, was going great, not only that, but she was all for tickling too. Anyway, just yesterday I we were lazing around and I caught her making googly eyes at me while I wasn't paying attention. I mean, I really thought things were good, but today we had a little talk and she literally throws her hands up and says something to the affect of "call me when you stop this reckless abandonment of life." What the hell does that mean? :illogical I think the best I was able to retort was something like, "Wuh waaah?"

On a related note, what happened to the "choose an icon for your message" smiley with the John Lennon shades on? That was my favorite one.

Not trying to hint at anything, but does she have any schizo disorder at all? Saying something like that out of the blue is a good indication.

I surmise that she exhibited other strange behavior over the last two months that you either did not or chose not to notice. Either way, there's a word, Birdie, that I want you to memorize. It's an easy word, four letters, one syllable.

Next!!!

It's the right philosophy for you right now.

Were you maybe doing something she didn't approve of? Like drink a brew, smoke a cigarette, gamble, watch sports, etc. I had a friend, who on Sundays, like to watch football and have a beer. Two years later without warning she took the kids and left. He would spend every moment of time with his family, he only asked that when the "Browns" played their games he could watch them, she got pissed and said she was being totally ignored and left him for his brother-in-law!

Well, she called me, asked me if I thought about it any, told her she was right, we just weren't meant to be, not sure why that is... but uh... oh well. Guess they can't all be sane. World might be dull without them. Thanks for the advice all.

Knox, I accidently memorized "Birdie" instead of next, but it helped too. She was a nice bird, but crazy, birdie.

Osco, my regards to your buddy.

Are you talking about this icon?

Congrats on getting rid of her, Birdie. Go find other fish in the sea of humanity. :fish:

Thanks amk, and no, I thought there used to be another one with sunglasses on, round hippy shades. Ah jeez, maybe she was sane and I'm the looney one, the world may never know.

Great attitude to have my friend. Remember it's her loss and your gain.

Sounds to me that you are positive, and bigger and better things can only happen! GOOD LUCK!!!!!! :xpulcy:

Thank you Isabeau, thank you Osco, it is too bad though, she still has a couple of my shirts. No, I don't mean to sound cold hearted, I did like the girl, but if she does just decide to wig out on people now and then, I'm glad I caught it after two months instead of five or six.

I guess as of right now, I'll just have to enjoy the life of a lone wolf. :couch:

She may have been a gold digger. This type of woman feels that if you aren't pursuing a mega-dollar carreer, i.e Doctor, Lawyer, Statesman, etc., then you are engaging in a "reckless abandonment of life."

So she's a nutzo bitch. Don't ever call her.

She could have some sort of mental issue, Viper. Someone very dear to me is schizophrenic. Bizzare behavior can't be helped sometimes.

There's a very appropriate song for this situation. The first few lines are:

Na na naa-na...
Na na naa-na...
Hey hey hey...

I think you get the picture. 😉

There's a proverb...when one door closes, another one opens. Don't even go down that road with the 'Lone Wolf' stuff. There are no benefits to being one.

Enjoy the thrill of the hunt, Bird!
