I realise this topic is getting a bit overplayed. I really do.

The days are getting shorter here in the central belt, which means we need the lights on earlier. About an hour ago I was at the kitchen table with my back to the window, facing the door, multitasking work and tickle porn as usual. My flatmate walked in, made a cup of tea and stood in the doorway talking to me for a few minutes. "Do you want this light on", he said, helpfully. "Yes, thanks", I said, stupidly.

He flicked the light on and we carried on talking for a bit. I noticed that he was staring out the window with a sort of bemused expression on his face, but assumed that he was also multitasking (talking to me and spying on the neighbours).

Yes, so, you know how this ends, don't you? I got up to get something from my bedroom and when I came back I realised that, not only was my laptop screen clearly visible in the dark window, it was fucking MAGNIFIED.

Magnified.

Oh, you. 😛

Could've been worse; he could have walked in on you while you were sessioning with someone.

Did you talk to him about it afterwards? I think people are much more open and ok with stuff like this than you'd think, but yeah I agree with what Artoo said. 😀

I have had many such close calls. This is why I now have a wedge for my door, and have learnt how to close any window on my PC within about half a second, and various other things just to make sure I can pass things off...

Not been caught as such though. Any luck and it won't ever be raised.

Now that my in-laws live right down the street from me, I've learned to lock my front door. My father-in-law has a tendency to walk right in if it's unlocked.

Wow - well I've come close a few times but so far so good. This must be what it's like for Clark Kent when he forgets to put his glasses on. 😀

Ha! Yes, I am superman. I am.

Bloody hell, he walks into your house? Madness! You should put a bell around his neck. Or one of those beepy ankle thingies.

Perhaps I'm letting my guard down...

Oh wow!
I don't what I would do if that happened to me!

:faint:

Ach no, there's no need for a deep and meaningful conversation. We don't get all horrified by the dark side of the brain around here.

On the kitchen table?! Some of us have standards, you know.
