Here's the revised version. I don't think Amy could've said it better.Sockstickler said:And with this picture, Amy and Amelia are first seen together onscreen. I like it, though I think Amy's comeback should be something about "If Iraq is doing so well, when are we going to get our troops back?" or something.
Tell me about it. The polls just came in and the conservatives and the idiots in the Bush adminstration are already breaking out the champagne. At least wait till the fat lady sings!Littlebighead said:Amelia seems to have won this round, but it's still very early going! I anticipate a constantly changing score!
As much as I detest Bush, I'm not bashing him this time! Positions on both sides are exposed here! At least I thought I made that clear. A lot of conservatives feel that they are victorious because Iradis are actually voting. The other side, for most part, is not quite optimistic. Both sides are PRESENTED HERE!!! Amelia being the conservative and Amy being the liberal, if you will. AND FURTHER MORE, you need to know what is going on in the world in order to make movies, music, AND COMICS AND DRAW IN SOME KIND OF FREAKIN' AUDIENCE!!!! Politics is everywhere nowadays, so I suggest you get over it! If this is your reaction this cartoon, you'll love the one I did for the Christmas issue!!!!scott3439 said:Not trying to be rude or anything, but I'm really starting to get tired of politics blatantly exposed in everything. Movies, music, even comic books...now it's getting to the point where I can't even enjoy some tickling without it plastered in there.
And considering the creator of this cartoon seems to be a blatant Bush-basher, I assume that it's going to be a very one-sided battle on the lefty's part.
Thanks for the backup!Vladislaus Dracula said:"Politics" is the buzz word that's getting these threads hits.
I myself am not complaining, though (so long as it doesn't disrespect people or break the rules). More power to him, I guess. Everyone has a gimmick or something that proves to distinguish them from the others. If politics is his thing, then so be it. He gets to speak his mind through his art, and we get to see his art. Sweet deal. 🙂
