Video Game OSTs

since i'm an avid lover of nobuo uematsu and final fantasy, i'm going to have to list my absolute favorites. starting with the song that makes the game. every last one of them. but i'm going with this version as my favorite:

moving backward to ffx, i can think of two songs worthy of note. the chilling theme of Auron, one of the most kickass main characters in the series..

and the recurring theme of the game, To Zanarkand. i don't know if it's one of those acquired tastes since i heard it at least 50,000 times during my playthroughs, or because it just stuck with me, but i found it moving.

since i can't decide between my two favorite tracks of 8, i'll put them in order of appearance:

so 5! let me start right off with one i've been looking forward to on this list, possibly the best battle theme in the series.

moving on to four, there are two favorites i have that are definitely worth mentioning.

skipping over 3 and 2 as one i had no favorites from in the music and the other i've honestly never played, the original final fantasy has three tracks worth mentioning:

Chaos Temple: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=suyCi-xdjNo why is the first boss of the game the owner of a track that should belong to the last boss of the game?

While you don't have to post every song separately. It's a good idea to limit how many you post per reply so that you don't overwhelm the reader in a massive post. You can always post a few and then wait for someone else to post before posting another set.

I can appreciate laziness as much as the next guy, but let's stick to accessible links like youtube, etc. and no more than five per post for ease of viewing's sake.

Wait... I don't get it. Is mediafire not accessible?

Also I did only post one thing. It was one rar file. Or did you mean the contents of the rar file? Or the amounts of posts in the thread?

I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS.

Mediafire is accessible, in that sense of the word, but it's not accessible in the sense of, people have to commit to downloading a file that they don't know the contents of other then 'music' and most people aren't going to want to do that. Instead, post youtube videos so that they just have to click the link and listen.

As for your next point. It was one rar file, yes. However it contains your entire music library. No one's going to want to download someone's entire music library. Just make it easy and post a couple youtube links of some of your favorite tracks like everyone else is doing.

But is't much more of a hastle for ME to track down the correct versions of all the songs on Youtube. It took me an hour to find them in the first place, and that was just dumb luck. It is just as easy to click my link as it is to click a youtube link.

The contents are exactly what the title says. It is 100% .mp3 files with maybe a .wav or two. Nothing nefarious. Besides, if people like the songs, my way saves them the trouble of downloading each individual song themselves. Each song is even organized by genre. It's as easy as could be. The file is only about a gig. If you're on a phone, I can see where that would be annoying, but I think it'd be safe to assume that most people keep downloads stored on their PC/Mac, not their phone. For a computer, a gig is nothing. (for the amount of music I gave)

Please don't tell me what to do. My uploading my library has no effect on you whatsoever. If you don't like it, don't click the download button. Simple as that. I will never be a sheep. I do things my own way.

You asked a few questions asking me about the guidelines I've given about posting in my thread and now you're getting bent out of shape about my answers to them. I'm not being unreasonable and yet you're being rude and overreacting. You're right, if I don't like it, I don't have to click the download button, just like if you don't like the few simple guidelines that I've laid out to make things easy for everyone you don't have to post in it.

At this point you've given no reason not to follow the guidelines except that you're "not a sheep" and you're not following the guidelines because you do things you're own way.

If you're not going to post anymore video game OSTs in my thread, don't post at all, at this point it's just disruptive posting.
 
The Final Fantasy Tactics Soundtrack is amazing. 😀

I also love the Castlevania: Symphony of the Night soundtrack. 😉
