...Damn, another game where I'll finish with a dozen elixirs. On the Diablo front, if we're complaining about what I think we're complaining about (I haven't played Diablo, stuck with ol' Torchlight 2), I heard a not-online version would show up on some kind of Playstation eventually.
Hmm... a shy companion is next? Well, AW, bring her out! She needs as much time as possible to get comfortable around us. Hell, I'll even give her a vintage FF7 Elixir. A 1997 Costa del Sol, an excellent year.
Ka ka ka! That's how TRUE RPG's are! Except I might just throw something that'll make you use even that full dozen! Ohhh whatcha think about that? Think I can make a FF7 Sephiroth battle? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Except this time you don't have Knights of the Round to win in one round. Oooo or maybe a weapon. That'd be fun. Nyeessssssssssss....heh heh heh.
On some kind of PlayStation isn't what I want. At all. Diablo is and always will be a PC game. It's where I began my first days in Tristram, and it's where I ended it in the depths of Hell (well, more so in the Barbarian lands if you go by the Expac). I've enjoyed what I've played of TL 2 though. Brings me back to the good days of Diablo 1 and 2. Minus all the blood and guts and disturbing atmospheres (seriously, I still can walk into Andariel's Lair and the Sisterhood's monastery and just get...disturbed...at the horrific details). Another excellent, if often undervalued, game that that was real close to Diablo 2 was Titan Quest. Check it out if you haven't. The same studio is making another game called Grim Dawn that I'm eagerly waiting for.
D'aawwwww does somebody like the shy types? You want to gush over the easily nervous one? Givin her stuff, you little predator you (then again, your name IS Carnivore 😛 lol). If you like Tula so far, you should like Muca. But there's more to her than meets the eye...oooOOooOOooooowhatdoesitmeeEEEeaaaAAannn?
Status update:
So you're all waiting patiently. I'm sure. Maybe some of you are chomping at the bit. I'm protecting my pizza boxes just in case.
I've decided to actually give you guys more than I originally planned and am creating new content that'll leave you right before Chapter 2 and The West (I was originally planning to give you guys mostly the stuff I disabled but I decided this is better). So you guys are gonna be able to progress through the Escape Tunnels where you were so rudely stopped last time 😉 I've made a few fun things that I hope you'll all enjoy.
I've also got some wonderful news. It looks like I've fixed the Swimsuit! AND you can save, load your game, and swap out equipment without the game crashing. I'll do some tests before I release the Live version just to make sure, but I've already gotten past the issues that plagued the last attempt so that's looking good. I'll also be removing the need to go back to the girl to swap it out, so HOORAY!
And on a final note, I'm fixing bugs (For example, I can't believe you guys never caught this! "Mustachio Man" (love that nickname) has an identity issue from what it looks like, where depending on his face he would lose his sideburns and his shirt would change color!) What's more, let me say this -watch out for Rare Encounters! Sometimes you'll get nice shtuff outta them.
Ticklefly Powder, for example, I just found out hadn't been set up completely! So for SOME users, throwing it did nothing at all to the enemy...because it actually did NOTHING. It was like throwing a leaf at a bull. SO! On Live, if you acquire some Ticklefly Powder, it's actually pretty nice! Chuck it at an enemy and they'll gain a lovely drop in Attack, Defense and Agility for a couple turns as well as a minor poison effect. Pretty nice, eh?
So nyes, slowly but surely I'm working on the release of Live. Keep your eyes open for further updates 🙂
