[VX Ace] The Laughing Isles

Lol one player says their Paladin had a helluva time with her, the other says "Pfft, she was easy as a newborn". CONFUSION ABOUNDS!

Well, I was about level 4 or 5, and I think i figured her out fairly quick. Once it was down to just her, it was a done deal, since I had 4 mana potions to spare and a heal spell. ^_^

Would it make you a villian? Hmmm I dunno. You live eternally, you're more than likely going to have an undead lover, and they have all their nerve endings and more still working...sooo you'd probably have many, many, many years of good times. But hey, them Naughty points are going to mean something ya know?
Haha, well, I specifically meant if being more exciting at someone being tickled to death than terrified, am I bad. 😛
😀 THAT is some AWESOME news. I except to see some kickarse tickle RPG's outta you, good sir! We've got an influx of users now making some awesome RPG's...From dealing with ticklish curses and ticklish spies to haunted houses that want nothing more than to bring a smile to your face...forever...

I hope so. I am playing around with it now, testing events and triggers and such. I don't know if I want to have a traditional combat system, an experimental combat system, or no combat at all. I'm having a REALLY hard time deciding if I want to tell a large, in depth story...or just make a fun, interactive game with lots of secrets. Like Skyrim with no combat, just a big open world with lots of things to interact with.

Items like the Pedi Stone can be used out of battle. Hold onto those if you get them, as they can be useful in the future. Using Pedi Stones on your characters or enemies actually gives you a status that doesn't go away after battles(only lasts 2 turns though). Nadya doesn't have the specific body part weaknesses as the monster girls do, but giving her a Pedi Stone will suddenly make Foot tickle attacks on her deal double damage. So you are technically making the game harder for yourself.
And then let me say: Events in the future.

Well thank the creator for that!

I didn't save after I tried testing it on poor lil nadya

Hey Anime, I updated a previous post with another bug I found, but I'm not sure if you saw it. Just in case, I'll repost it here. The jar that you get to collect powder in doesn't seem to be working. It doesn't appear in your inventory, and nothing appears that drops anything like that.

Without revealing everything, I'll say that the quest is not at all bugged. It works just fine and you can complete it. Think about what hints the guard gave you. ^_^

Has anyone gotten past the mine? I've beaten the boss, but I still can't get through the mine cart blockage or the boulder in the east exit.

Hmmm...I keep going to all the places with water on both the big map and individual areas. I'm sure I'm missing something though

Ahhh I got it
Curses Anime for keeping the prison sealed off to us!

Yes, it's possible. Just requires some exploration. Remember what it says when you activate the cart? She drops a hint of what to look for. ^_^

Also, Anime, I finally found the Zombie. Did some crazy exploration and found her. Got both scenes. VERY minor cosmetic bug. When zombie is unconscious, she it still jumping.

And yes, Ranger is my best friend. I love that damn class!

I've not had the chance to play through the new version very far, but so far it's turning out to be an excellent game, as a mage the difficulty doesn't seem too hard quite yet but still a challenge.

One issue I've noticed, and I noticed before but forgot to mention, is that in a few places the player's name is N[1] rather than the name, seems like a syntax issue. The one place I remember it is when you defeat the catgirl and go for the punish option, though I believe there were other places as well.

Ohhh, so that's where the ancestral fly thing is. I didn't find it until now. Gas powered stiiiiiick, never runs outta gaaaaaas.

I plan on starting a second save file with the ranger soon. If it's still the same ranger from the demo, I am excited to return to "favored enemy: everything."

Oh, some things I noticed. When you sleep and then immediately check the doors, Worynn says "The town is in danger!"

The next thing is a bit more difficult to explain. It seems like you can activate the second part of their talk, the book, before you speak with her. Here's a shot of it:

http://img43.imageshack.us/img43/1293/0z51.png

I'm thinking maybe I'm activating the event from across the table because of how RPGM treats "counters." I dunno. For some reason, doing this caused the game to eventually freeze.

Yep, found the scene, so I'm not in the dark anymore.

But the door still stands tall, even after shouting Mellon at my screen. Found some other boring things though:

King of the Hill: http://www7.pic-upload.de/13.08.13/5v1lgm8objrv.jpg (you can pass through were the girl was)

Random wall: http://www7.pic-upload.de/13.08.13/8zv4nz1268r7.jpg

I guess it's intentional, but just to be sure, you can pass over these small mountains: http://www7.pic-upload.de/13.08.13/gvwegyk3ngk.jpg Didn't find any great spoilers though 😉

Beat the spider girl in the newest vers, seems to work now.

Hm... about Paladin and the fight... my main problem was that my heal only healed 40-50 points, while the two first summons dealt about 40-50 points each round, nullifying the effect. So I had to use hi-potions, and my supplies were limited.
Maybe it's about the level or the equipment. After I failed at level 5 (didn't grind a single time), I grinded to lvl 8 but that didn't change anything, since the stats growth isn't that great (a good item seems to be as strong as two levelups, and the new skills Provoke and Cover are only useful if you have a second party member as far as I know).

With the right tactic I needed two hi-potion and 1 antidiot, so I guess you can call it an easy fight as soon as you figure out in which order to focus the opponents and stuff like that.

REZP62H.jpg

You little monkey! Climbing on all kinds of things you're not supposed to! Making me patch up my game for the better! Curse you! Curse you and your exploring mind!

Yeeeaa, you're not supposed to be able to pass over those mountains. Cuz...yknow...mountains. But thankfully I have nothing really done to that side. What you see is the lands the player will have access to only if they choose the Dark side(with some exceptions). I haven't made much for that yet, so I'm ok with you strolling around the burnt fields. Because there's so much more than meets the eye right there.

I've got these issues fixed, but I'll hold off unless there's another big glitch before I release another version. So they'll probably go into effect when I release a content patch.

Hoo hooo can't wait to hear how Mages do. Gonna go lock my door so Mage players can't find me. :lol
Stats are currently in their slow phase. The higher up you go, the faster the stats begin scaling as you level. There should be some balance, with players looking forward to leveling as well as new items.

Excellent job sniffing out all these glitches and bugs.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay~!
DAT ZOMBIEHHHH! I'm so HYYYYPED! But I wonder.. Will she hold a grudge for that scene? I sure hope so! XD

BaBOOM! Bout damn time lol happy you enjoyed it ^^

Hmmm....Hmmmmmmmmmm....Magic 8 ball says...Ask Again Later.

...

Stupid gimmick piece of crap...

At least it means the "more evil" tickle scenes I have in store won't disturb you or something. If you haven't flinched at the death scenes of the monster girls, I can see how you'd be ok with seeing someone tickled to death haha.

Quite frankly, RPG Maker is...like...endless...
..Well, not really. But it's got a lot of capabilities just out of the box. Then you've got things you can look into that can enhance your game further and allow you to do things you couldn't (ohhh yes, thank you scripts).

Well thank the creator for that!
evbf37.jpg

I didn't save after I tried testing it on poor lil nadya

Lol! Yes indeed. Though do remember, it goes away 2 rounds in battle so it wouldn't have been a permanent thing. So it's ok if you just wanna "imagine" that your characters now have flawless feet. :stickout

Has anyone gotten past the mine? I've beaten the boss, but I still can't get through the mine cart blockage or the boulder in the east exit.

The mining cart should've been explained because Nadya tells you what she needs to find, but the BOULDER...Well...hehehe... Nadya can't budge it. She isn't strong enough. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...What could this mean? 😀

Hmmm...I keep going to all the places with water on both the big map and individual areas. I'm sure I'm missing something though

Ahhh I got it
Curses Anime for keeping the prison sealed off to us!

Lol I'm glad you finally figured it out and completed it all. Sorry I didn't reply to it earlier, I guess it did slip past me.

Hahaha, I'm loving how people are getting annoyed that they can't get into the prison. It tickles me so that people can't look into a place that people WOULD get tickled.

Also, Anime, I finally found the Zombie. Did some crazy exploration and found her. Got both scenes. VERY minor cosmetic bug. When zombie is unconscious, she it still jumping.

And yes, Ranger is my best friend. I love that damn class!

Crazy exploration? :stickout I take it that getting out of bed is an Indiana Jones adventure? lol I'm just ribbing ya, but do remember to check everything out. Quite a few things are missable, and become missable at certain points. It's why having multiple save files would be a really good thing (I harp on this too much, but it's one of the golden rules of RPG's).

Say WHAAA? Clearly she is a jumping vampire and not a zombie. I'll get that fixed up.

The Ranger will be getting more goodies in chapter 2. Glad to hear you like the class. Still haven't heard of any Clerics, but that's ok. All but one being liked aint bad.

I've not had the chance to play through the new version very far, but so far it's turning out to be an excellent game, as a mage the difficulty doesn't seem too hard quite yet but still a challenge.

Happy to hear you're progressing with the Mage! Early reports made it seem like people loathed the class because it felt too hard. The Mage is going to get MUCH easier as you progress the game, because having more party members will significantly increase your ability to survive. Those that keep on keeping on will find themselves to be one of the top damage dealers in the game (though Muca will more than likely easily beat them out unless you gimp her, as well as another monster girl, depending on what ya do).

The catgirl typo should have been corrected by now thanks to a message by Lurk, but I'm sure there's plenty more N[1]'s floating around in text. Any typos ya find, lemme know.

Ohhh, so that's where the ancestral fly thing is. I didn't find it until now. Gas powered stiiiiiick, never runs outta gaaaaaas.

And HERE we have it! The original name for the item. It's totally not a jive-ass stick.

I plan on starting a second save file with the ranger soon. If it's still the same ranger from the demo, I am excited to return to "favored enemy: everything."

Oh, some things I noticed. When you sleep and then immediately check the doors, Worynn says "The town is in danger!"

I'm thinking maybe I'm activating the event from across the table because of how RPGM treats "counters." I dunno. For some reason, doing this caused the game to eventually freeze.

Ahhhh there's another minor bug that I'll fix. Good work 🙂 As for the book, I'll get that fixed too. Events on things like this sometimes let players interact with them one space ahead, such as shopkeepers. It's strange, but it's exactly what you think because the table is a counter top.

I went through the demo with all the classes, so I know a little about the cleric. The cleric actually . . . didn't get much in the early levels. I was kinda hoping to see a better heal than paladin's. I assume she's just going to learn that a little later.

Oh! That reminds me. I have a really important question for you. Do you have all the skills for the classes set already? If not, it might help to know when I shouldn't grind anymore. I wouldn't want to miss a skill.

Lol! Yes indeed. Though do remember, it goes away 2 rounds in battle so it wouldn't have been a permanent thing. So it's ok if you just wanna "imagine" that your characters now have flawless feet. :stickout

I always figured that Nadya was just absolutely flawless! *insert odd techno raygun noise*

By the way, is this "Zombie Scene" everyone keeps yabbering on about that badass alternative way to deal with the zombie? Cause I got that on accident.... haven't seen the "beat her in battle" scene yet XD Though on that subject, dayum Animu! That was one heck of an awesome scene... almost made me feel sorry for the poor the lil corpse gal

Didn't realize the game had gotten another fix for the tunnel scene with Arachne....... so I just wasted a good amount of time XD

Okay, so, first of all I want to say this game is really great! Overall I have really enjoyed playing it. However, not being a pro at this like some of you seem to be, I am struggling a bit with finding some of the side stuff. For example, I can not find even a single zombie scene. I feel as if I have explored everywhere, but I am afraid I must have missed something early on but have no idea where to begin. Can someone please help??

Also, toward the end of the live version, is there nowhere to actually resupply before the necromancer battle? I need hi-potions and have gotten shards all over the place but I don't know if I missed a random shop or if I am just screwed because I made the mistake of actually fighting the other random monsters and using up all my potions. The last place I could purchase potions was before the centaur raid, so it would really suck to have to go all the way back there, and hi-potions weren't for sale then.

Can anyone give some advice/hints to a bit of a novice? Thanks!! 🙂

Were you wearing the Cute Two Piece at the time? 😛

I hope it continues to be to your liking 😀 It's gonna be the waiting that's going to be the hardest (for YOU guys anyways). Bellybutton scenes haven't disappointed too much, have they?

No, I wasn't (that'd be just creepy), but Nadya was. I find it kinda sad that the best "armor" in v1 is a bikini.

Well, for the content you added for v1, it was pretty darn sparse on bellybutton and pretty darn heavy on feet. That's ok though. I know you favor feet more than anything and, since it's your game after all, you can put whatever you want in it. Besides, I know you have something special in store for the button lovers at some point. :cool

I'll tell you though, the win scenes you did for the Ancestral Fly and the Necromancess would make any foot lover just.....well, EXPLODE. To be honest, since feet don't do anything for me, I didn't really so much read those scenes as glance over them, but what I caught tells me you put a LOT of effort into them. You hear me foot lovers?? You BETTER show your appreciation to Anime, or else! :shuriken:

The Ranger will be getting more goodies in chapter 2. Glad to hear you like the class. Still haven't heard of any Clerics, but that's ok. All but one being liked aint bad.

Well, I think the lack of a team member is probably a reason for people not playing a Cleric. Without someone else to heal and buff, doesn't seem as best of a choice. And, you know, we all want to be super heroes. Just for mentioning it, I will make my EVIL character a Cleric. Or, I suppose in the case of it being evil, it'd be more like a Black Guard.

Also, I want to say...The zombie scene bothers me. Not the necrobitch, the other one. Not because it's written poorly, or played our poorly, or anything at all in that regard. It's quite well done, in fact. However...the implication of finding something to get another scene...my god, that says FAR too much of how future events can/will be. I'm going to be like Golum any time I get a new quests.

"WHERE IS IT?! IT'S HERE SOMEWHERE, WHERE IS THE PRECIOUS?!"

And yes, RPG maker can dooz lots of stuffz. It took a minute to figure out how to make a black screen with some text as the starting event, but I got that figured out now. I'm pretty giddy about making it.

...so. About that v2.0. I expect it to be coming tomorrow, right? Right, you insomniac you? :lol

I did explode indeed. IF YOU KNOW WHA-I'll let that thought die out before I get banned. All of the scenes are very well written and I thought there were quite the abundance of scenes with a lot of body parts. The detail of the foot scenes says some pretty good things for this game though. When a creator writes scenes like that, it usually means that (Much like the player) he is drooling over this hottie and the torture you're doing to her. When a creator does that to something HE CREATED....it is a good sign. A very good sign. ^_^

Just got to the "Necromancess, is it me or is that the "Soul Eater" Grim skull on her hat?

So I made it thru the entire game, read the posts of the thread.......

...........aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand I missed a bunch of stuff. 😛issed

Ah well, time to make a ranger and be more thorough.

On a side note, the scene after beating the last boss even trumps the zombie in the house scene. Totally makes it worth going back and playing all over again.

I love the new version so far, I'm still in the Escape cave. The only gripe I have is the lack of a merchant anywhere in the cave. You're getting so much money fighting all those undead monsters and you get loads of cash. It's so frustrating not being able to spend it on much needed potions. I got to use my backup to go back to where I killed the spider girl that kidnapped the priest because I had to use them all on her. Seems I'm going to have to skip her because I can't beat the blue undead girl without anymore potions. :cry

Edit: instead of starting over I'm just going to keep training until I beat her, forgot I had a save before the minecart so I can just train until I get good enough to beat her. I got to the cave at level 6 with 2000 gold, I'm level 10 with 11246 gold.

Edit 2: Well damn...Just realized that the max level is 10. Crap...looks like I'll have to keep trying until I get really lucky. JUST ONE POTION DANGIT! WHY! :cry

The Cleric actually gets some nice things the Paladin doesn't. Like...Damage 😛 Not a whole lot, but more than them. See, the Cleric gets buffs. Nice buffs. Like, 5 rounds 25% stacking Defense buffs. Clerics can't tank like a Paladin at all, of course, but then that's not their job. They're support/buff/healer. A Cleric gets heal at level 1. A Paladin gets Heal at level 3. A Cleric gets Heal II at level 10. A Paladin gets theirs at level 25(currently). Clerics get Recovery (AoE heal). Paladins...don't. What's more, a Paladin's heal (and its magic spells in general) will be weaker than a Cleric's just due to stats alone.

All skills for classes 1 - 10 are set. 11 - 20+ is still up in the air. Of course, you don't have to worry about that until part 2 comes out.

I always figured that Nadya was just absolutely flawless! *insert odd techno raygun noise*

Of course she is! :stickout

You won't be able to beat her with that. You'll always get the scene. So if you do another run, you must resist temptation! (actually, I'll change it so there's an option to choose your scene since I now see some problems with this and the future). I am enjoying, however, how many pages could be filled with just stuff on the zombies and their tickle scenes.

Yea, all fixed but that also means anyone who went past needed to have a save to play that bit.

Okay, so, first of all I want to say this game is really great! Overall I have really enjoyed playing it. Look around the world to find that which you seek. There are plenty of missables in this game, and if you don't do some before the story continues, you won't be able to do them again unless you do a new game. Events also change based on previous actions, or actions you didn't do in the first place, SO BEWARE!

Errr...you used up all your supplies before the boss fight? Hoo boy. Even the ones I put in chests earlier in the escape tunnels? Hoooo boy. No, there isn't a place to buy more potions in the escape tunnels. Hi-potions are also meant to be hard to get this early in the game, thus why you didn't see any buyable. You can only find them currently. Tell ya what, I'll put ooooone more chest before the boss and it'll have a hi-potion in it.

Make sure, next time, you try and conserve resources. I let you have the bed at the start of the tunnels so you could use it to fight, then run back and heal.

I'll upload a new update later tonight that'll give you that potion. I pray you haven't used up the one-time use boss heal too. I also pray you can beat her with that, and if not then you've got a save file when you were in the earlier parts of the mine.

That's why. 😛 I made it so it would switch back to your bikini model because...well..you're wearing it. Of course, if you HAD BEEN wearing one in real life...pictures or gtfo :stickout

Yea, actually, one of the bellybutton scenes was...the second thief that didn't get put in. Lol But yea, I did mention earlier that there would be more foot scenes than non-foot. But yes, plenty more for body parts of all fetish lovers.

Hahaha, you think so? I always can't tell if I'm just throwing out crap since I'm not a writer. At least it isn't the HAHAHAHAHAHA -next line- tickle tickle tickle coochie coo -next line- HOHOHOHOHO. Always nice to feel appreciated though. 🙂

Probably, though I guess that means people are playing Paladin because they think it'll be god mode (oh how wrong THEY'LL be). I do find it odd though. What makes a super hero? Saving people, right? What's one of the biggest things in games, often overlooked, that do just that? Healers. 😛 Still, who wouldn't wanna be a Paladin AMIRIGHT? Bah, I have more respect for the Mages and squishy players dealing with hardships at this point lol.
Anyways...aren't Black Guards fallen PALADINS? Pfft. Evil Cleric. Guffaw guffaw.

Necrobitch! LOL! A part of me hopes that gets put into a walkthrough as a nickname. If THAT is what bothers you...ohhhh man are you in for a bumpy ride. Cuz I'm going to be doing stuff like that THROUGHOUT this game. You better find yourself a hunting dog to track down all these hidden things!

Edit: Oh and funny enough, I AM already working on 2.0. I mean, I already had stuff done for it (again why I freaked out when dalfgan broke through a barrier and thought everyone had access to stuff they shouldn't). Heaven help me if you had been able to get Tula already. But yea, guess I'm the type of guy that just works till I drop. Over. Dead. 😛

I did explode indeed. IF YOU KNOW WHA-I'll let that thought die out before I get banned. I KNOW WH-Ahem...yea... I still am amazed at the compliments I've received for some scenes. I really didn't feel they were that well written, but then again I don't often write. Or show other people my writing. Or anything of the sort. Though it's not like I'm drooling over these characters, I must admit for the first time I have sometimes gotten a little...interested...in the scenes I've made. This is a first for me, because I usually fall into Daddy Syndrome (totally made up) with my work. It's where I can draw a character getting tickled, write about her being tortured out of her mind, have every detail you'd want on her and her ticklishness, and I don't get turned on. It's like that's a daughter or something (Do NOT think too much on that line as that'd make me a TERRIBLE father lol). But if there is one thing I will admit, it's that I absolutely LOVE creating. It's what being an artist is all about, making things, new or old.

Just got to the "Necromancess, is it me or is that the "Soul Eater" Grim skull on her hat?

What? Haha, TW, you're imagining things. Hahaha.

Hahaha. You and your wacky imagination.

Haha...
