[VX Ace] The Laughing Isles

Well I seem to have reached the end of it...well not the end, but to the part where the story is postpone for now I think. Truthfully it was fun and I have to admit that some were challenging enough when you can't turn back to get recovery items. Twice I had close call on that situation due to only have two very good healing items and many items that only recover little of it. Heck I was at a point of going back a few steps before the disaster to get more by training. ^^;

Regardless, the first battle music--I blame you for that because it makes me wanna listen to the music I once did long ago. But after the battle music change, it became unfamiliar, but still good. 🙂

The storyline was amazing, but some of the quest ( and sidequest)...I have one thing to say: HILARIOUS! Some part I've encountered along the way had me laughing hard. Loved it!

In summary, it became one of the best game I've ever played. 🙂
 
Still waiting for a update. I must say this game is quite interesting especially those side quests.

Just wondering has anyone else found that secret/breakable wall in the pond area. There should be a wolf boss passed it. Just curios.
 
Oh that's right there is a pond in the beginning my bad. The second pond has the wall you can break.
Wait don't some ponds have waterfalls next to them. It also has lily pads or can those be in rivers too.
 
I definitely miss this game....C'mon Anime. What's the hold up?

Ugh I am starting to hate mega...says I can not download rest of it because Browser storage for mega is full.
 
Pretty sure AW absconded with all our dreams of the perfect RPG and ran off to Bangladesh.
 
Fear not, a little bird told me he is hard at work at this very minute. *checks surveillance cameras* yes... yes he is hard at work. I won't speak for him but just lettin you know, as far I as I know, he hasn't forsook this game.

It looks like the ancestral fly quest is...removed in that one? Do you by any chance have an older version?

The ancestral fly quest isn't in the 1.9 version?
Ah and also, does someone know if animewatcher is still working on the 2.0 version? I sent him some PM (no harassment don't worry) but he doesn't answer.
 
The ancestral fly character's VX event on the map in 1.9 has no dialog.

Text-searching the whole data folder didn't reveal phrases related to the dust gathering scene.

It's possible, though unlikely, that I missed them.

I might have uploaded a slightly older version as well, I'm not sure if it was removed in the latest version or if my version was old. I've got a ton of folders of TLI, TLI1, TLI1(new), TLInewer, etc. Thought about trying to make my own game at some point but I really need to get filenames figured out first.

While exploring the archives of your personal treasures - you happen upon the files of an old game. A game filled with magic, monsters girls, and mystical forces at play. A game following the story of a young woman, set out to change an uncertain future. A game - dormant - unfinished.
