Wallpaper Idea

As is the case with most things I do, I wasn't going to bother telling anyone about this, but I thought why not. If even one person thinks it's a passably good idea, then this is not a wasted thread. If nobody thinks it's any good at all, then it was a bit of a waste. Never mind.

I don't know about anyone else, but, seeing as I like tickling images, I like to have a tickling-themed desktop wallpaper. Unfortunately, this runs the risk of being caught red-handed and revealed to the world as a ticklephile. So I disguise them. I take a nice picture, and warp it around in photoshop so that only I can recognise it. But this often looks naff.

Anyway, this is my latest "subtle tickling" scheme. It makes a nice wallpaper that you easily associate with tickling, but to the untrained eye it's simply a collection of laughing faces. The most they'll be is slightly confused.

Just cut out a load of lees' faces from your favourite pictures and stick them all together. It takes ages, but if you're bored, why not?

Anyway, here's my own example. If anybody else actually tries this, I'd love to see what you come up with. But probably most people just won't have time. Quite frankly, I can't blame you.


Oh, and just to save my own skin (I hope), I didn't draw any of these pictures. I may have coloured one to make it blend in (apologies to ghostshinobi and a prize to whoever can guess which one), but that's it.

Good pictures, all! *Snatches* Hmm...I see two that I am positive or gs's...one was already colored...the other...I think that purple-haired Nuku-Nuku might be the one, although I can't seem to find it in either of my gs folders...anyways, quite impressive, although as a ticklephile you are right, the TK aspect pops out immediately. XD

EDIT: Wait...maybe that Nuku Nuku one isn't gs's...now I am unsure...

This is a really clever idea! Very attractive, too! For those who know what they're looking at, it's almost overwhelming, a regular tickle orgy! I notice one of my own pictures mixed amongst all the greats... trainer May, from my Pokemon series. What a delightful discovery! I'm so proud she made the cut!

Wow, a pretty positive response - thanks, guys! I still have most of the images saved away in my archives, but I deleted quite a lot of them to save me from organising them into files. Seriously, my tickling archive is so damn organised, it isn't even funny. I've attatched an example for you.

Oh, and HDS, if you're still curious, the one that I coloured was the Washu near the center, next to Jipsy.

Also, I'd like to make it known that there were tons more pictures I would've loved to use from pretty much every artist here, so I'm saving them for the next one I make.

If anybody wants any specific pictures from that wallpaper, I'll see if I can track them down again. 😉

Ah! But of course, a fool my eyes make me. Completely passed over that one. Alas...and if you can't find any particular picture, let me know which one. I am reasonably sure I have all of them, but I'd have to check.

Possibly true, but such a disorganized state they are in. Roughly half of the 100,000 or so image files within are not where they belong or are unsorted. ;_; Fortunately, most every one of those is by an artist I keep a folder for, so they won't be hard to find. And the few that aren't I pretty much know where they lie...

What, me K-man? I grab all your works that I am able to. Right now I have 65 files in the main Kalamos folder and another 5 or so scattered around. Not nearly your full selection, but most of what you've posted here.

My present archive is about 120 files strong, considering the 01.1 and 01.2 variations - but excluding the PSP layered pics.

Plus, the Aygomen pics, which I put under a different folder anyway.

I think there's a sampling of pretty much everyone in my archives. ^_^ Unfortunately, however, too many times have I saved a whole load of tickling pics to my desktop, looked at how many there are, and then deleted them all out of laziness (i.e. not wanting to arrange them all into categories). 🙁

As for the different categories, there's all sorts in there. 😛
