Thanks for sharing your experience Featherfingers. As sad as it is that someone would attack an innocent question, it is always good to remember that not everyone is as open about tickling as we are.

I have been lucky in that I have shared my fetish with many of my close friends without criticism. But I am careful in how I present it and choose who I tell wisely. They don't share my enthusiasm in any way, but they accept it as something I am interested in.

When I was still searching for a relationship via match.com, I would raise the subject of tickling with the guys as I was chatting via e-mail with them. I found that in most cases, they would disappear after a while. 🙁

I oughta ask those ladies how they'd feel if it was Brad Pitt who sneaked in and tickled them... but I'd probably only piss them off more. As of today, there have been no recent replies to that thread, so maybe that's the end of that. In fact, if no one responds by this evening, I'll just delete the thread and stay away from that particular group.

Seriously though, I can sort of understand someone being upset with the thought of someone sneaking in at night. As a woman who lives alone, I would freak out if someone just showed up in my room in the middle of the night. But that's a safety thing, not tickling related. Now, if someone knocked on the door to wake me before coming in (and I knew they were in the house) I would welcome them with open arms!

The lesson I learned is to check out what a group is like before I put my two cents in. I read a lot of threads and posts here at TMF before I decided to become an active member. I found that this was a community in which I was accepted and I could speak freely about tickling or anything I desired. Some of the first responses I received came from Steph and Tickleshotel. When they welcomed me with open arms, I knew I found my new home.

I'd say most of TMF's members have encountered experiences like mine in one way or another. The purpose of this thread is to help prevent the newbies from going through what I did. No one should have to feel bad about who they are as a person due to someone else's ill mannered judgment upon them.

I think Luvin2laf brought up a very good point: It's the sneakin' in to tickle that might've set the respondants off. Just a thought. I can't know for sure without reading the thread itself.

Unless I'm mistaken, you(Featherfingers) just meant "sneaking in" as a sort of controlled fantasy event, and not the real deal, but they might not have understood it from the same perspective as your feathered friends here in the safe-haven of the TMF. I myself am into bondage with tickling, but only as a totally consensual thing in reality(in fantasy, it's anything goes here).

The fact is that I knew the lady whom I tickled that night. She was my best friend's sister and I was her brother's "dorky friend", said affectionately, of course. So, I wasn't a stranger. Still, I see your point.

I still don't know why she'd leave her bedroom door open when I spent the night over there the second time, knowing I'd probably sneak in again. I know there was a lock on it.

Dr. Kobb, basically all I did was crawl into her room quietly, lift the covers from her feet and tickle them for an hour or so. I didn't feel her up or do anything that would be considered inappropriate. I can see why that would appear creepy to some people...but I've since met women who would love to have that happen to them. One lady offered to leave her window open at night so I could crawl in and tickle her... but her neighborhood was dangerous enough to begin with without me being seen by a nosy neighbor with an itchy trigger finger.

Your reply is like a dream come true for me, tickle_me_there! I'd love for all my lady friends to give me the 'okay' to enter their bedrooms as they sleep so I may enhance their dreams with my tickling fingers! So far only one gives me that privelege.
