The Washington Nationals have won their first World Series title, beating the Houston Astros 6-2 in Game 7 of the 2019 World Series.

Also of note.

This World Series is the first World Series in history, where the road team won all seven games of the World Series.

Was good to see Scherzer get a ring along with Anibal Sanchez. The Detroit Tigers pitching rotation in 2014 was:

Since they've left Detroit they've all won a ring.....what a waste of an opportunity

You think Bryce Harper is kicking himself for not signing with the Nats for $300, opting instead to sign with the Phillies for $330 million? Although I don't think the Nats would have been nearly as complete a team with Harper on the roster.

Congratulations to the Nationals. It's a shame they aren't still in Montreal to celebrate this.

Actually, I'm wondering why AJ Hinch pulled Grienke when he was pitching a one hitter in the sixth. His pitch count in the sixth inning was 66, Scherzer had just hit 100 pitches.
