Wasted money on a clip?

There are quite a few video producers on Clips4Sale that put out pretty awful clips just to make a buck. I know I've bought a few, I just can't remember any names.

Oh fuck I just remembered one. Anyone know a YouTube amatuer foot model a while back named 'GeekFeet'? She had a C4S once upon a time and, lucky me, she had a tickle video on it.

I buy it, all psyched to see a sexy nerd girl laugh, and what I get is 5 minutes of some offscreen hand lazily swiping her foot with a feather as she looks bored and what I think was "Party Rock Anthem" blaring in the background. Crown jewel of the video; her foot had a decent sized blister on it.

Very, very bad buy. I've been disappointed with tickleporn before, but even then, they made an attempt to put on a show for the camera, so to speak. This was about as "Fuck it, you're gonna jerk to it anyway..." as I've ever seen.

All you guys complaining about the length of the previews need to remember that you're buying jerkoff material. If the preview is long enough for you to do the deed, you'll never have a reason to buy the entire clip.

I doubt 30 seconds is long enough for most of us to "do the deed." Sure, you could play the play in a loop, but you could do that with a 15-second preview too. If longer previews were a problem, the producers who consistently provide them would've gone out of business ages ago.

...and most producers I know, myself included, provide clips around the 30-second mark in length, so I don't know exactly what you're getting at. All I'm saying is, that that's apparently not long enough for the people complaining, but if the preview is too long, you'll lose a sale. I personally know people who never buy clips, they just watch the lengthier previews because it's enough to give them what they want.

In the old days of 30 minute and 60 minute Cal Star VHS videos they would include previews of 1 to 2 minutes.

I try to make my clips 20 seconds at the very least (unless they are in HD, then bandwidth limits me to 10 seconds). If the clip being previewed is only 2 mins long, the preview usually caps off at 15 seconds.
Of course, I just need to make more videos. 🙂

Have you ever bought a clip and realized it was not up to your expectation despite watching the 10 second preview?

I recently bought a clip. The camera had so much movement, it could have won an Oscar for best Saving Private Ryan imitation.

So disappointed.

Several times. A couple of times, the clip was damaged and cut off 25 seconds in. Another time, the full clip didn't have what was shown in the preview. And then there are those overpriced clips where they do all the tying up and talking in the beginning and don't even touch the person until 2 minutes in...So, now I just make the damn videos myself lol

It's why I avoid certain companies like Zentickling. As for the length of the preview, it depends on the company and the model.

I have an ongoing collection of clips, and I estimate that I delete about 10% of what I download. The reasons include bad camera work, models who aren't very good actresses, 'lers who hog the action, or I may have compromised on something and gambled. These are some of the reasons I largely avoid the bigger, and costlier, clips. There are some producers I will never purchase from for various reasons, some are my favorites that rarely disappoint, and several others thrown in the mix. I'd say it's just how things go, since other types of purchases are made that are less than you hoped for.
