ok, so as most of you know (and just in case for those who do not) my mom passed away this past december. i am currently in dallas visiting my step-dad and visiting the memorial that he built for her, as well. when i landed in dallas today i had a voicemail on my phone. it was my best friend's husband and he said that he needed me to call him back because he had a "message for me". well now i'm starting to panic because i'm thinking something else is wrong. i sent him a text and asked if i could call him in a few, that i was in dallas and had just landed. he said sure.
so i call him back and he tells me about this dream that he had this morning. it was him, myself, my best friend and their boys, walking around somewhere. my friend and the boys went into this shop and he and i stayed outside. in the dream he told me that my mom had come to visit him and to give me a message that she's ok, not to worry and that she loves me. but here's the kicker: then he asked me "so what are you doing in dallas, man? something for work?" he didn't know what i was here for or that my mom lived here. so on today of all days for him to have that particular dream and for it to be so detailed, i think, is way more than coincidence.
in my belief system, we're taught that very little, if anything, is actual coincidence. everything happens for a reason. we should pay attention to things like our intuition, dreams, messages, etc. because they all mean something. in this case, i think my mom went through both of them because they're both much more in tune than i am and my mom always knew how close my best friend and i have been since high school (9th grade to be exact). i just thought that was the most incrdible thing. have you guys ever had any experiences like that? i'll be posting the photo of mom's memorial site that was built for her, if that won't freak anyone out or possibly look really morbid lol. it was very well designed by my step-dad and i'd like to share it with you guys.
thanks so much, again, for all the love and support that i've received over the past few months. we actually just got a call on monday of this week that a very close friend of the family passed, as well. so this week hasn't been fun. anyway, thank you again all. keep safe!!!
