Let's do this thing. 🙂

Kansas City +2
Green Bay -13
Baltimore -2
Tennessee -5
Philadelphia -6
Dallas -7 1/2
Tampa Bay +3 1/2
Atlanta -6 1/2
Minnesota -5 1/2
Oakland -3 1/2
Seattle +3 1/2
Houston -3
Jacksonville +7
New England -3
Indianapolis -5 1/2
New Orleans -5 1/2

I know it's on the road, but with the extra rest for the Saints and the 49ers' poor performance last weekend, New Orleans giving less than a touchdown feels like a gift. I'm tempted to lay a few sheckles on the outcome, honestly.

Kansas City Chiefs +2 @ Cleveland Browns 1:00pm ( CBS ) --- Can't you see a let down by the Chiefs after a HUGE win over San Diego? So can I!

Buffalo Bills +13 @ Green Bay Packers 1:00pm ( CBS ) --- If you pick the Packers to go deep into the playoffs like I have, then you can't pick against them here despite the big point spread.

Baltimore Ravens -2 @ Cincinnati Bengals 1:00pm ( CBS ) --- Don't believe in the Bengals. The Ravens had an impressive victory over the Jets. Look for the Ravens to win this one.

Pittsburgh Steelers +5 @ Tennessee Titans 1:00pm ( CBS ) --- Titans are 9-2 over their last 11 games. Not a big believer in Vince Young but let's be fair, he is a better option than Dixon.

Philadelphia Eagles -6 @ Detroit Lions 1:00pm ( FOX ) ---Lions lost their starting QB. How long? Nobody knows yet. The Eagles lost their starting QB. How long? Nobody knows yet. So it is Vick versus Hill. Interesting. Looking for an interesting game here. Lions much improved defense will keep this game close.

Chicago Bears +7 1/2 @ Dallas Cowboys 1:00pm ( FOX ) --- As much as I know that the Cowboys are the better team...they are probably not 8 points better than the Bears. The Cowboys will win but not by more than a TD.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers +3 1/2 @ Carolina Panthers 1:00pm ( FOX ) --- The Panthers running game turns this game to them. The Buccaneers played a very good last week, but the Panthers are not the Browns. Though they are not that better than the Browns.

Arizona Cardinals +6 1/2 @ Atlanta Falcons 1:00pm ( FOX ) --- The Falcons should be able to handle the Cardinals in this match-up. especially with the Cardinals traveling all the way across the country and playing at 10am PT on Sunday.

Miami Dolphins +5 1/2 @ Minnesota Vikings 1:00pm ( CBS ) --- The Vikings in a game that will be closely contested. But in the end despite Favre being 40, he is better than Henne and should be able to get the job done at home.

St. Louis Rams +3 1/2 @ Oakland Raiders 4:05pm ( FOX ) --- Two teams that have struggled in recent years. This is not a must watch, but Bradford should have an interesting game.

Seattle Seahawks +3 1/2 @ Denver Broncos 4:05pm ( FOX ) --- The Broncos are a team trying to figure it out. The Seahawks despite their impressive win are just trying to find their way. If your game is on a commercial, this could be a good game to check in on.

Houston Texans -3 @ Washington Redskins 4:15pm ( CBS ) --- I can see the Texans having a Colts hangover. The Redskins are not as likely to have a Cowboys hangover. I can see the Redskins winning this game 24-17.

Jacksonville Jaguars +7 @ San Diego Chargers 4:15pm ( CBS ) --- The Chargers playing against the Jaguars at home might be the recipe for a victory. After the Chargers loss last week in Kansas City, it is good for the Chargers to go home.

New England Patriots -3 @ New York Jets 4:15pm ( CBS ) --- The Jets are a mess. Super Bowl Rex??? Are you serious??? Really??? The Patriots are stable and have a QB that knows how to win. Take the Pats here and give up the three points. Look for the Pats to treat the new stadium like they treated the old stadium.

New York Giants +5 1/2 @ Indianapolis Colts 8:20pm ( NBC ) --- Eli versus Payton. You know there is more going on in this game than that. The Colts have NOT lost the 1st two games in any given season since 1998. I can't imagine them being 0-2. Look for Payton to carry this team to a win.

Monday, September 20th,2010

New Orleans -5 1/2 @ San Francisco 49ers 8:35pm ( ESPN ) --- New Orleans didn't have a great offensive performance in the opener. But that should not be discouraging to the Saints or their fans. Look for Brees and this offense to get back on track this week.

Kansas City Chiefs +2 @ Cleveland Browns 1:00pm ( CBS )

Delhomme isn't going to play and while Cleveland fans should be excited sadly it means Seneca Wallace will start. KC is coming off an emotional division win and will carry that momentum as they silence the Dawg Pound.

Buffalo Bills +13 @ Green Bay Packers 1:00pm ( CBS )

Aaron Rodgers was shaky to start, but Philly is never easy at home. The point spread might scare you because its more suited for a college game, but to Green Bay this is the equivalent of playing San Jose St.

Baltimore Ravens -2 @ Cincinnati Bengals 1:00pm ( CBS )

Carson Palmer has destroyed the Ravens over his career, but don't trust him on this day. Cedric Benson is the key and the Ravens run defense is in midseason form and they as a whole are looking to make an early season statement that this division runs through Baltimore this year.

Pittsburgh Steelers+5 @ Tennessee Titans 1:00pm ( CBS )

I like the Titans to win this game, but I don't know if they can cover 5 points. Still with the Steelers missing key guys on both sides of the line I think they are up to the challenge. CJ should have a good day pounding that Defense, and I'm sure the Titan D will scare Dennis Dixon. But Rashad Mendanhall and the Steelers D will keep the game within reach.

Philadelphia Eagles -6 @ Detroit Lions 1:00pm ( FOX )

Shaun Hill isn't scaring that Philly D and not even Suh can catch Mike Vick. The Experience has another throw back moment on turf.

Chicago Bears +7 1/2 @ Dallas Cowboys 1:00pm ( FOX )

Dallas is a wasteland of logic and Matt Forte so far looks like last season was just a sophomore slump. Chicago may not win the game but the points are just too tempting.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers +3 1/2 @ Carolina Panthers 1:00pm ( FOX )

Matt Moore is slated to play, but this day will belong to DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart.

Arizona Cardinals +6 1/2 @ Atlanta Falcons 1:00pm ( FOX )

Another game I think my pick might lose but the spread works in their favor. Besides Breaston and Fitzy on turf; Lord Anderson can just chuck it deep all day.

Miami Dolphins +5 1/2 @ Minnesota Vikings 1:00pm ( CBS )

Henne didn't look good to start and rumors keep saying that he's on a short leash, look for Jared Allen to wrangle him a couple of times. I like Marshall against that shaky secondary, but Favre and company will look to right the ship in the Dome.

St. Louis Rams +3 1/2 @ Oakland Raiders 4:05pm ( FOX )

Bradford meet Black Hole. Won't be a pretty game but do you trust a rookie in Oakland?

Seattle Seahawks +3 1/2 @ Denver Broncos 4:05pm ( FOX )

Pete Carroll is going to treat this like an early trip to Utah and run up the score.

Houston Texans -3 @ Washington Redskins 4:15pm ( CBS )

No offensive touchdowns isn't going to cut it against Matt Schaub, Andre Johnson, and Arian Foster. Dallas ran well against the Skins when they actually did choose to run, and expect Foster too do the same.

Jacksonville Jaguars +7 @ San Diego Chargers 4:15pm ( CBS )

San Diego got caught in the KC trap, but never trust Jacksonville having to travel across the country. Especially when Phillip Rivers is looking for blood.

New England Patriots -3 @ New York Jets 4:15pm ( CBS )

Tom Brady is 12-3 lifetime against the J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS including 7-1 in New York. Look for him to make his mark on the new Meadowlands. Fantasy Alert: Revis will be locked on Moss, but Wes Welker had 15 catches against the Jets last year and the rest of the secondary let Anquan Boldin get 7 catches for 100+ yards last week.

New York Giants +5 1/2 @ Indianapolis Colts 8:20pm ( NBC )

First time Peyton started 0-2 in the NFL: 1998, the second: 2010 Eli might not have Hakeem Nicks fantasy players, but Steve Smith and Mario Manningham will be viable options. That Indy Offensive Line is not match for the GMEN's front 7

Monday, September 20th,2010

New Orleans -5 1/2 @ San Francisco 49ers 8:35pm ( ESPN )

Mike Singletary smells a rat, and the rat is Alex Smith. Drew Brees might sit out the 4th quarter because this one is going to be ugly.

Kansas City Chiefs +2 @ Cleveland Browns 1:00pm ( CBS )
Kansas City looked decent in the rain and their defense played really well. Offensively there are some concerns, but I like this match up for them. I think KC gets the win.

Buffalo Bills +13 @ Green Bay Packers 1:00pm ( CBS )
Normally these are way to many points for me to take, but you know Buffalo has not shown much at all. Green Bay put 27 points up against a tough Philly D. Buffalo missing their best LBer....Ill take the chance, Green Bay all the way.

Baltimore Ravens -2
@ Cincinnati Bengals 1:00pm ( CBS )
Cedric Benson did not run well last week against a Pats defense, I don't see much success for him this week. Palmer has a good showing against the Ravens D in the past, but Baltimore has an offense. I think Baltimore cuts down on the turnovers and wins this easily.

Pittsburgh Steelers+5 @ Tennessee Titans 1:00pm ( CBS )
I think this game will come down to FG's early. Both teams will play tough and 1 late touchdown will seal it for the Titans at home.

Philadelphia Eagles -6 @ Detroit Lions 1:00pm ( FOX )
Back up QB fight!! Back up QB fight!! I trust Vick as an athlete more than I trust him as QB, but he will make the right plays and do enough to get Philly the win and keep that QB controversy alive for another week.

Chicago Bears +7 1/2
@ Dallas Cowboys 1:00pm ( FOX )
Too many reasons to take the Boys....but as they say, if something looks too good to be true, it usually is. Dallas is without leadership and while Miles Austin is BEAST getting his, it seems Romo has forgotten about his TE and at times they forget about their running game. If Chicago can keep it close early and weather the HOME CROWD for Dallas and the initial surge in the first half...Chicago could shock the world and put Dallas fans one step closer to that ledge. But on the bright side A LOT of people will watch :paranoia:

Tampa Bay Buccaneers +3 1/2 @ Carolina Panthers 1:00pm ( FOX )
Tampa won at home, barely. Now they travel to a humiliated Carolina. I think the Cats also cut down on turnovers, face a defense no where as good as the Giants and get the win.

Arizona Cardinals +6 1/2 @ Atlanta Falcons 1:00pm ( FOX )
The Falcons best got them a loss in overtime. Arizona looked OK. Almost a toss up but the Falcons are tough at home, and Turner will make up for a lackluster day against the Steelers D last week. I think the Falcons go back to what they do best and get the win.

Miami Dolphins +5 1/2
@ Minnesota Vikings 1:00pm ( CBS )
No Harvin, No Rice, but fear not....AP is still there. Quick slants are in order for the Dolphins to minimize the pass rush and I think this game will be closer than we think. Dolphins.

St. Louis Rams +3 1/2
@ Oakland Raiders 4:05pm ( FOX )
Oakland as of late wins games they are not expected to and lose the ones they should win. Besides, it'll make for great conversation. Take the Rams. After all they used to be in LA.

Seattle Seahawks +3 1/2 @ Denver Broncos 4:05pm ( FOX )
Are the Seahawks for real, or was it a one week wonder. Denver is tough at home in that mile high air. I can't believe yet the Hawks are that good. They may prove me wrong, but until then I'll go Broncos.

Houston Texans -3 @ Washington Redskins 4:15pm ( CBS )
The other team from Texas does not make the mental mistakes the Cowboys do. This team has 1 RB, not 3 to satisfy. This team has one #1 receiver and its not in doubt. Schaub and Johnson please their fantasy owners this week, and come away 2-0.

Jacksonville Jaguars +7
@ San Diego Chargers 4:15pm ( CBS )
Popular or not, I think the weather was a factor last week. KC played well and really surprised the Chargers, but I think this week the Chargers get back on track. Plus teams traveling to opposite coast usually do not fare well. But I don't like the points and I think JVille can keep it closer than the spread.

New England Patriots -3
@ New York Jets 4:15pm ( CBS )
Smack talk....round 2. BelaCHEAT and Rex "Big Mouth" Ryan. Hard Knocks vs. Spy Cam. BelaCHEAT however in this one get the win, and Revis Island looks more like Coney Island when the Jets sit at 0-2. I do want to see this match-up, Pats should find a lot of great looks down the middle of the field and in the slot.

New York Giants +5 1/2 @ Indianapolis Colts 8:20pm ( NBC )
Manning vs. Manning. Big brother beats little brother. I think Indi knows they don't want to start 0-2 and Payton will do everything to win this one. He will put this team on his shoulders and come out firing all day. I don't think the Giants secondary can match up against quick 3-5 step drops to keep that Giants D-Line at bay. Giants will over scheme and under produce.
Colts for the win.

New Orleans -5 1/2
@ San Francisco 49ers 8:35pm ( ESPN )
New Orleans are still the Champs. Brees has been sitting and planning since last Friday (yeah, they would have not played in 10 days when this game comes around) almost a bye week after 1 game and are already healthy. Probably one team that come out of week out unscathed. They may be off timing the first half, but second half....all Saints. I think the points are too low myself. Easy pick. Saints.

Sunday, September 19th,2010

Kansas City Chiefs +2 @ Cleveland Browns 1:00pm ( CBS ) --- Kansas City upset San Diego & they play a team that has Jake Delhomme & blew a 14-3 lead in losing to Tampa Bay.

Buffalo Bills +13 @ Green Bay Packers 1:00pm ( CBS ) --- I didn't think Green Bay will do enough to cover - they are not that dominant of a team. Heck, they let Vick throw the ball around some. However, I just remembered that the Bills are still vertically challenged until proven otherwise.

Baltimore Ravens -2 @ Cincinnati Bengals 1:00pm ( CBS ) --- Ride Ray Rice. Ride Ray Rice. Ride Ray Rice.

Pittsburgh Steelers +5 @ Tennessee Titans 1:00pm ( CBS ) --- It's hard for me to believe that this game will have a margin larger than a field goal. Two great defenses here could make the first to 10 points win.

Philadelphia Eagles -6 @ Detroit Lions 1:00pm ( FOX ) --- And now, the screaming starts...as Vick will be running wild.

Chicago Bears +7 1/2 @ Dallas Cowboys 1:00pm ( FOX ) --- I think Dallas is very overrated on offense, so I don't believe they will cover. As for the win, well, I'm going on a hunch that Dallas' defense is not capable of winning by themselves.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers +3 1/2 @ Carolina Panthers 1:00pm ( FOX ) --- Matt Moore is starting. Notice that he likes to float wounded ducks into areas covered by the opposing defenders.

Arizona Cardinals +6 1/2 @ Atlanta Falcons 1:00pm ( FOX ) --- Only Kurt Warner can convince me to take Arizona. Oh, but he no longer plays for them? I guess we'll ride Michael Turner to double digits.

Miami Dolphins +5 1/2 @ Minnesota Vikings 1:00pm ( CBS ) --- I think we get to see another pretender go to 0-2. With running game dominance, take anything more than 3 points.

St. Louis Rams +3 1/2 @ Oakland Raiders 4:05pm ( FOX ) --- You know, I think Jason Campbell shows something here.

Seattle Seahawks +3 1/2 @ Denver Broncos 4:05pm ( FOX ) --- What is a bad comeback? Kyle Orton.

Houston Texans -3 @ Washington Redskins 4:15pm ( CBS ) --- I see Washington pulling away with a late score.

Jacksonville Jaguars +7 @ San Diego Chargers 4:15pm ( CBS ) --- I'll ride the Jones-Drew train.

New England Patriots -3 @ New York Jets 4:15pm ( CBS ) --- Hmmm. A trap. Everyone seems to be taking the Patriots. I don't like 100% consensus picks. So, I'll take the Jets.

New York Giants +5 1/2 @ Indianapolis Colts 8:20pm ( NBC ) --- I can't remember picking this many upsets ever. But the best way to play defense against Peyton Manning is to keep him on the sidelines with Ahmad Bradshaw & Brandon Jacobs.

Monday, September 20th,2010

New Orleans -5 1/2 @ San Francisco 49ers 8:35pm ( ESPN ) --- I don't believe San Francisco lays back-to-back eggs. They will keep this close.
