Week 4 picks:

Denver +6.5
Baltimore +1
Cincy -3
Detroit +14.5
Carolina +13.5
San Fran +7
St Louis +1
Buffalo +5.5
Indy -7.5
Oakland +3
Arizona +8
Washington +6
Chicago +4
New England -1

Denver +6 1/2 @ Tennessee Titans 1:00pm ( CBS ) - I'll take Denver - I don't think Tennessee will score enough points to cover.

Baltimore Ravens +1 @ Pittsburgh Steelers 1:00pm ( CBS ) - I'll take the Steelers even if Joe Schmoe was their quarterback.

Cincinnati Bengals -3 @ Cleveland Browns 1:00pm ( CBS ) - Quarterback competency is a key factor, even if Palmer hasn't looked the same. At least his throws don't reach the other team...

Detroit Lions +14 1/2 @ Green Bay Packers 1:00pm ( FOX ) - I don't think Detroit is that bad, & I believe that 14.5 is a lot to cover.

Carolina Panthers +13 1/2 @ New Orleans Saints 1:00pm ( FOX ) - However, I believe Carolina is this bad & I will give away these points.

San Francisco 49ers +7 @ Atlanta Falcons 1:00pm ( FOX ) - I believe that San Fran will score 20 points.

Seattle Seahawks -1 @ St.Louis Rams 1:00pm ( FOX ) - Matt Hasselbeck looks like the best NFC West QB. Leon Washington looks like he's back. Now who started him on their fantasy roster last week?

New York Jets -5 1/2 @ Buffalo Bills 1:00pm ( CBS ) - This smells like a trap spread, but Sanchez looks totally better & I don't see 6 INTs being thrown later today by the Jets.

Indianapolis Colts -7 1/2 @ Jacksonville Jaguars 4:05pm ( CBS ) - Jacksonville seems to play Indy tough, & this is at Jacksonville.

Houston Texans -3 @ Oakland Raiders 4:05pm ( CBS ) - Since I believe in Houston, I have to believe that Houston will win this game fairly easily.

Arizona Cardinals +8 @ San Diego Chargers 4:15pm ( FOX ) - Week 4 isn't finished yet, so I will still count on San Diego to struggle.

Washington Redskins +6 @ Philadelphia Eagles 4:15pm ( FOX ) - Hmmm. This is the trap game. Everyone (including their grandmothers) are taking the Eagles to win. Since I'm healthy, I'm reversing course & taking the McNabbs to stun the Vicks.

Chicago Bears +4 @ New York Giants 8:20pm ( NBC ) - Wait, let me get this straight. Chicago, a 3-0 team, are 4-point dogs to a team that committed 5 personal foul penalties last week? The Giants may keep this close, but they need all the help they can get.

Monday, October 4th,2010

New England Patriots -1 @ Miami Dolphins 8:35pm ( ESPN ) - Hunch time.

Sunday, October 3rd, 2010

Baltimore Ravens +1 @ Pittsburgh Steelers 1:00pm ( CBS )

Cincinnati Bengals -3 @ Cleveland Browns 1:00pm ( CBS )

Detroit Lions +14 1/2 @ Green Bay Packers 1:00pm ( FOX )

Carolina Panthers +13 1/2 @ New Orleans Saints 1:00pm ( FOX )

San Francisco 49ers +7 @ Atlanta Falcons 1:00pm ( FOX )

Seattle Seahawks -1 @ St.Louis Rams 1:00pm ( FOX )

New York Jets -5 1/2 @ Buffalo Bills 1:00pm ( CBS )

Indianapolis Colts -7 1/2 @ Jacksonville Jaguars 4:05pm ( CBS )

Denver +6 1/2 @ Tennessee Titans 1:00pm ( CBS )
I think Denver has shown to be a decent team over the past couple of weeks. Tennessee has some issues at the QB position still. Denver will keep this close, and may even win.

Baltimore Ravens +1 @ Pittsburgh Steelers 1:00pm ( CBS )
I only pick this because Pittsburgh is at home. If at Baltimore I would go the other day. Defense wins this match up. Send the Offenses home.

Cincinnati Bengals -3 @ Cleveland Browns 1:00pm ( CBS )
I think this game goes down to the wire. Quite possibly in the realm of point spreads, this game has a chance to be a draw. A FG difference may be all it is. When Divisional opponents play...throw it all out.

Detroit Lions +14 1/2
@ Green Bay Packers 1:00pm ( FOX )
Another divisional match-up that I think will be a little closer than advertised. I think somewhere like a 21-10 win for the Pack.

Carolina Panthers +13 1/2 @ New Orleans Saints 1:00pm ( FOX )
Carolina has no offense. They are so easy to stop. Double Steve Smith, put 7 in the box. DONE and DONE. Easy win for the Saints to come back from last weeks disappointing home loss.

San Francisco 49ers +7 @ Atlanta Falcons 1:00pm ( FOX )
If the Falcons are for real...this is a game they have to win. But the 49ers need it more, they can't fall to 0-4 or its almost a done deal for them. The Niners keep it close, but Atlanta has made a habit of winning at home as of late.

Seattle Seahawks -1 @ St.Louis Rams 1:00pm ( FOX )
I just can not believe in the Seahawks fully yet. They play great one week, then terrible the next. Well, they played good last week...this must be the down week.

New York Jets -5 1/2 @ Buffalo Bills 1:00pm ( CBS )
Only 5 1/2???? Are they kidding. Id take the Jets with double that. Normally with divisional games you expect them to be closer. But with the Bills, they just do not have a strong enough team to keep in this game long.

Indianapolis Colts -7 1/2 @ Jacksonville Jaguars 4:05pm ( CBS )
Just another Manning kinda day. Doesn't matter about much else. Although the Jags may take a page from the Texans and try to run it all day. I think in the end though too much Manning.

Houston Texans -3 @ Oakland Raiders 4:05pm ( CBS )
Another team that if you are a playoff team...this is game you win. They can not lose, go to 2-2 and if the Colts win, be behind by a game. Oakland seems to be getting better but I think the Texans are a more talented team across the board.

Arizona Cardinals +8 @ San Diego Chargers 4:15pm ( FOX )
San Diego is at home, they are angry and its game 4. Time for them to start winning. I think they treat Arizona as the Falcons did. Rivers should have a great game.

Washington Redskins +6 @ Philadelphia Eagles 4:15pm ( FOX )
Too much Vick. Washington may keep it close early, but Vick will wear out the Skins defense by the beginning of the 4th quarter by chasing him around. Then the Eagles put it away. Get comfy Kolb, that bench is yours for the duration.

Chicago Bears +4 @ New York Giants 8:20pm ( NBC )
Its certainly not time to be Super Bowl Shufflin in Chicago, but after a nice win at home versus Green Bay, Chicago is feeling good. The Giants look disorganized and unsure of themselves. The Bears can take advantage of that, and get the win.

Monday, October 4th,2010

New England Patriots -1 @ Miami Dolphins 8:35pm ( ESPN )
The Patriots Defense is just HORRIBLE. They gave up how many to Buffalo? Miami's defense will do a number on the Pats like the Jets defense did..and Miami's offense is much better than the Bills. Miami should look in winning this, and combine it with a Jets win...Miami and New York should be sitting atop at 3-1, leaving the Patriots in unfamiliar territory..in 3rd place in the Division.

Denver +6 1/2 @ Tennessee Titans 1:00pm ( CBS )
Denver on a long trip, CJ2K looking to get back on track.

Baltimore Ravens +1 @ Pittsburgh Steelers 1:00pm ( CBS )
Joe Flacco 1-4 against the Steelers, and oh yeah the Steelers play pretty good defense

Cincinnati Bengals -3 @ Cleveland Browns 1:00pm ( CBS )
The State of Ohio is not a football haven, but I think Cleveland can finally hold onto a 4th quarter lead. Well Delhomme is playing.......

Detroit Lions +14 1/2 @ Green Bay Packers 1:00pm ( FOX )
In Jahvid and CJ I trust, dammit boys cover the spread for once

Carolina Panthers +13 1/2 @ New Orleans Saints 1:00pm ( FOX )

Arizona Cardinals +8 @ San Diego Chargers 4:15pm ( FOX )
Its October, time for the Chargers' season to start
