Kansas City Chiefs +4 1/2 @ Houston Texans 1:00pm ( CBS ) - Only because I expect the margin to be a FG or less.

Baltimore Ravens +2 1/2 @ New England Patriots 1:00pm ( CBS ) - I believe, as of right now, that Baltimore is the best team in the league since they beat the Steelers & the Jets.

New Orleans Saints -4 @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers 1:00pm ( FOX ) - You know, I like Tampa Bay at home in this spot.

Atlanta Falcons +2 1/2 @ Philadelphia Eagles 1:00pm ( FOX ) - I'm starting to get worried as I haven't picked a favorite yet. Quietly, Atlanta is tops in the division, yet they have no props? This will be a statement game.

Detroit Lions +10 @ New York Giants 1:00pm ( FOX ) - Only because if I pick against the Giants, they win the game. I, however, do not expect the Giants to cover double digits.

Seattle Seahawks +6 1/2 @ Chicago Bears 1:00pm ( FOX ) - Cutler returns & I expect an early lead to allow Chicago to chase Matt Hasselbeck early & often.

Miami Dolphins +3 1/2 @ Green Bay Packers 1:00pm ( CBS ) - Rodgers may be rusty.

Cleveland Browns +13 1/2 @ Pittsburgh Steelers 1:00pm ( CBS ) - I'll pick a top team to cover two TDs.

While I think the Chargers will win, St. Louis can make this game close. A west coast team playing a 1pm EDT game, they usually start sloppy. I think the Rams at home are a better team than on the road and can be trouble for visiting teams.

I can not see Houston losing AGAIN at home. If they do not then who knows anything about a team that can beat Indi but lose like they have been. Houston we have a problem...I think the Chiefs can be the solution.

Baltimore Ravens +2 1/2 @ New England Patriots 1:00pm ( CBS )
New England can't stop anyone from scoring (see NE vs. Buff) so why do I think they should fare any better against the Ravens. The Ravens however CAN stop people from scoring. This one may be a laugher by halftime.

New Orleans Saints -4 @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers 1:00pm ( FOX )
Call me crazy, but the Saints have not shown to be as good as they were last year. At home Tampa plays well and I think can keep this close if not win it outright. The Bucs have a chance here, lets hope they don't savor last week to long.

The Falcons look the part of a NFC contender. The Eagles without Vick look average. Should be a great game, but in the end I think too much Turner and Snelling.

This game scares me. Feels like a trap, smells like a trap...in the immortal words of Admiral Ackbar...ITS A TRAP!! Lions have a habit of covering the spread and the Giants have been playing too good, something has to give. I think the Giants win...but not by 11.

Cutler's back and the Seahawks are in trouble, hey now....hey now Jay Cutlers back. In Chicago, team ready....Bears ready to shake off the rust.

As long as Rodgers plays....this is the pick. Only because of him and being at home. If this was more than 4..Id probably take Miami. The Pack plays well at home though...so I'll go with them.

Divisional game, as usual throw out the book. Big Ben's first game back, expect some rust. Cleveland may not score or only score 3..but the Steelers may not score more than 10-13. I see a 13-3 final. Does not cover the spread...but the Steelers should get the win.

Mile High, East going out West and the Jets riding real high after a game ending Pick6 for the win against Minny. I think the Broncos shock the Jets here.

San Fran is in dissary, Oakland is riding high. One team has hope, the other hopes for win...somewhere. I think Oakland adds to woes of the Niners.

Dallas is just not playing like a team, Minnesota showed life last week. At home, a lot to play for...both teams. But I think Minny has the edge at home.

I just can't see Manning losing 2 in row. It may happen..but I can't pick that way. I think the Colts should win this...and this could be a statement game.
