Hey guys,

Well the site is back up and running. There was a change in the DNS and I didn't see the message right away. I apologize for freaking any of you out, and I assure you that TickleTheater.com is here to stay.

We actually have a new host sponsor named Infojoe from MyTickling.com that put this site on a beefy system with unmetered bandwidth. Once all the kinks are worked out there will be nothing slowing us down, and there will be room to add new content and fun features for everyone to enjoy.

Also, please welcome HDS, Nessy, and Val as your new Admins of TickleTheater. Together they will continue to manage and moderate the site, but will have much more abilities to aid them and to even choose new moderators.

As for me I am now officially stepping more into the background into an inactive Founder role. I know I haven't exactly been the best of site owners, but I am putting the site into some very capable and talented hands. I'll still be in touch from time to time.

I know I haven't exactly been the best of site owners...

Actually I think you have been. There's certainly something extra special about the atmosphere of Tickle Theater, a quality of friendliness and fun that invites me (and the tons of special personalities I love to interact with) to sign on and participate multiple times every day. Thanks so much for your inspiration, your generosity and all your hard work! You've built one whale of a wonderful club-house for us, TT... you have everything in the world to be proud of!

HDS has been here for a long time. Not nearly as long as some, but for a long time indeed. The TT was one of the two forums I joined on the 2nd of December, 2002, marking the first time I became a registered member of the tickling community. The TT has come a long way since then, from days when the bossman's weekly clip updates constituted a huge portion of clips shared on the theater in a week and few posters had over a hundred posts, to today, where we have more clips posted in some days than were once posted in a week or month and the number of members with over 1000 posts fills an entire page and then some! We've seen changes over the years, with staff departures (exotickle and iluv2tkl), tens of thousands of new members, and several layout changes. All throughout this, the TT has been a place filled with happy, friendly members sharing a common love and generally having a fantastic time. While the other TK boards have their merits (HDS is a member at several), the TT has always been a place I could come to relax completely. It is indeed a unique community.

So bravo, bravo to you, bossman. I'm honored to help continue your legacy and hope to see (And help keep) the TT continue to be the special place it is today.

And while I've said it before (More seconding the Nessles), I'd like to reiterate my gratitude to infojoe for coming along and giving the Theater a new, powerful home, in addition to giving the bossman the opportunity to slip into his Admin Emeritus role without having to shut down or severely alter the Theater to do so. Without him, we might be hearing a farewell speech to the Theater itself today, instead of the bossman's own farewell.

TT, I too must echo the sentiments of the others. Thank you for creating this place where those of us who share a love of this thing called tickling can come and know we're not alone. This site, and its members, have helped a lot of people, myself included, come to terms with who they are and know that it's all good. That's a heck of a legacy as is. 😀
Also, Nessonite, HisDivineShadow, Mistress Valerie, congratulations to the three of you. This promotion to admin has obviously been a long time coming, and is well deserved from what I've seen in my short time here so far. I know this forum is in good hands, and tis an honor to post in a forum with such paragons of leadership as you three!

and to add on to what ky said: A good leader is dedicated and a fickle for detail. Through that attention to detail, a solid foundation is created... one that will not break, no matter how much pressure is placed on it. From that foundation, the structure OR community can properly grow and flourish. You took a large portion of your life and dedicated it to running this place: essentially taking nothing and making it into something. I recall an earlier thread about your shock at seeing 20000 members here, something you would never have imagined. (I believe that number to be accurate, but correct me if I am wrong. 😉 ) You have very much to be proud of. I look forward to the next while with your 'apprentices' taking over leadership of the TTC and I must echo the sentiments of everyone else that you have chosen well. My best wishes on your future endeavours and I must implore that you not be a stranger and post here when you can.

Once again, Socks has said something so damned poetically I can't hope to improve on what he says so I'll quote him😛. Also, want to echo what he said about TT helping come to terms with what they call our fetish. It's been a definite blessing, and we all love and thank ALL the mods, especially TT hisself, for it🙂

I too want to thank TT for creating this wonderful place. It was the friendly atmosphere of this place that encouraged me out of my lurking into actively sharing my artwork. It were the friendly comments of the members here that encouraged me to create more and more art. This forum also helped me to understand and accept my fetish. If the TTC hadn't been here, things could have been very different for me now... I am very grateful for it's existence, and it is great news that it will keep existing! 🙂
