What Actors/Actresses Do You Dislike?

Are there any actors or actresses that forum members dislike, either because of the characters they play, the fact that they have no talent, or that they are not attractive?

I can think of a few off the top of my head. The first actor I greatly dislike is Laurence Fishburne. Does this guy ever play a nice character? He played Ike Turner, Tina Turner's abusive ex husband, in What's Love Got To Do With It. He also played an "Eye In The Sky", who severely physically assaulted card counters in the Kevin Spacey movie "21".

Another actor I've never liked is Jason Alexander. I've watched some Seinfeld episodes, and I feel his George Constanza character is not funny. Additionally, he played Richard Gere's pompous ass lawyer in Pretty Woman, in which there is a scene where he hits Julia Roberts, and calls her a "**********" more than once. Not cool.

As for actresses, I've never particularly cared for Gwyeenth Paltrow. I do like her mother, Blythe Danner, but I feel that Ms Paltrow is far overrated as an actress, and not very attractive.

So, that's my partial list. What actors/actresses do forum members dislike?

Eva Longoria. The way the media shoves this useless center piece up our asses 24/7, you'd think she discovered the cure for AIDS or something.

A sweeping generalisation: Any of those little fifteen-seconds-of-fame flash in the pans from shows like The O.C. or Lost.

Nicholas Cage. I almost began to like him when I caught The Lord of War. Then conventional wisdom reminded me that the only reason this unversatile and wooden actor ever made a name is due to the clout of his Uncle.

Paris Hilton is like a bad nightmare. If you close your eyes tightly enough and choose ignore it, then it will disappear...The only problem with this is that while I am doing this, every slack jawed lowest-common-denominator piece of shit that was ever spat out of your local trailer park is oggling and rubbernecking, hence, defeating the purpose, entirely.

Optimus Prime. Seriously...If you want to make a larger than life hero (no pun intended) that is a good role model for kids, THEN STOP LETTING HIM GET HIS CLOCK CLEANED EVERY TIME HE FIGHTS Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave, one of Soundwaves tapes, an empty soda can, a field of buttercups....

Come on, Mitch. You don't know either of them personally. And if you dislike them for the characters they get hired to play, you're only admitting they're doing their jobs well.

You're free to dislike an actor because he has no talent, but it doesn't make sense not to like him because he's good enough to be convincing.

After all, wasn't the silent movies era star Erich von Stroheim known as 'The Man You Love to Hate'?

Will Ferrell. I have never been able to stand that guy. As for actresses, probably Sarah Silverman.

Christopher Walken creeps me out, Jason Alexander isn't funny, Jenny McCarthy endangers children with her promotion of the anti-vaccine movement, and Emma Thompson keeps on making those boring period pieces.

The ones I hate are the ones who try to tell me how to feel,how to think,how to vote,etc That is the ones from the left and the right Entertain me That is what they are supposed to do

When they start spouting off on politics,that is when they get annoying

Then there are the actors/actresses who feel they are above the law,and can do whatever they feel like with any consequences

Then there are the ones who talk about their favorite charities If they gave at least half of what they are worth,think of all the good they could do

Are you hating her for how the media\her "reality" tv shows portray her public image or her actual acting? Because she has only done a couple serious movies and can hardly be a register of her acting ability. I would suggest checking out repo the genetic opera to see an amazing performance acting and singing by her

Number one on my list is Roseanne Barr. Not good looking, not a talented actress, not a talented singer, she nevertheless acted (and sometimes sang) for years and years. I can't comprehend it.

If I never see her again on any TV show or in any movie, that will be just fine with me.

If I see another commercial for Stepbrothers, I will shoot someone! I absolutely hate Will Ferrell-don't know how the hell someone could spend more than five cents to see him in a movie. It seems the dumber the theme, the better for him! Ugh!

I happen to like Nicholas Cage but his movies as of late suck!

The casts of Seinfield and Friends-I'm sorry I didn't think they were funny and they were neurotic and underfed.

I know my list will get longer as I think about it, but this is a good starting point.

And can someone tell me how the hell Heath Ledger got nominated for his role in Batman? I thought the Dark Knight absolutely was the most boring movie I ever spent a dollar to rent at the redbox!

Bella, granted, I haven't seen all of Fishburne's movies, but of the ones I have seen, I just don't like the guy.

Jason Alexander is like a little arrogant twerp. In every role I've seen him in, he just plays this pompous jerk. Sorry, dont care for him.

To each his or her own, I guess. I saw some people list Cage, and the Wilson brothers, and Tom Cruise, all of whom I happen to like. I'm not going to take issue with those people who say they dont like Cage, the Wilsons, and Cruise. It is their right to have that opinion, just like I have mine about Fishburne and Jason Alexander. Differing opinions is what makes the world go round.

Bella, he was outstanding in Othello and the matrix. He is now acting in CSI replacing William Peterson's character as a professor turned CSI. I think he has a lot to give in his new character.

Even though I must admit that Avery Brooks played a much better Othello, but ...........
