seeing as how thanksgiving is coming up for us here in the us, it often gets overlooked with football turkey lurkey and of course christmas. we should remember what thanksgiving is all about and be thankful for what we have. i am thankful for my health, my life, the fact that i have a home. and very thankful that i found this wonderful forum where i have met many great people who share this amazing thing we call tickling mania.

ps remember the homeless and our troops over seas this holiday season.

I'm thankful to be alive and in good health, and that I have my family, friends, and the TMF around to keep me company. 🙂

Thankful for:

My mother
My grandparents
My girlfriend
My car
My job
My home
My computer
My co-workers
My bed
My life

And last but not least, my fellow TMFers!

I'm thankful for....

Lazarus, the absolute love of my life, answer to all my prayers and dreams and the one responsible for making me the happiest woman in the world.

Our kids, who are growing up to be bright, funny, caring, entertaining, fantastic little folks who just make our whole world go round. :grouphug:

All of our friends and family, and our ability to spend every new day with them. :redheart:

The TMF and all the great people within it. This place is my entire world online, and I can not imagine what my life as a whole would be like without this treasure. :dogpile:

My graphics programs and my ability to make people happy through my creations. :happyfloa

My pets, who warm my heart and soul in ways no human ever possibly could. :cat:

Our landlords....yeah, I know. Odd thing to be thankful for, but after having lived through experiences with a couple of landlords from hell (some here know of what I speak), we are eternally grateful for having our current ones. They absolutely rock. :rotate:

Tickling, and the ability to make someone else smile and laugh through a gentle affectionate touch. What could be greater than that? :tickle:

And of course, all the basics (shelter, food, warmth, clothes, toys)... 🙂

Most thankful for be able to wake up today, many people didn't have that luxury

My beautiful girls
home
my 16 other siblings
father and mother (actually she is my stepmother, but I hate the term 'step')
health
happiness
heat (starting to get a little nippy)
junkbucket that gets me from point 'A' to 'B'
my Cubs next year
and most importantly

my fellow TMFers, who I am proud to say is my second family

I'm thankful for everything in my life....good, bad and in between. They all allow me to grow.

My family that remains close despite some of my family lives many miles apart.

My new job that I am so happy to have found and i take pride in doing my job and come home at end of day feeling tired but knowing I helped others

My health

The decisions I have made recently that make me happier now and even happier in the future

All my good friends from TMF that are dear to my heart who bring happiness and laughs into my life and I am grateful each day how each one of my friends here grace me with their unique personalities :twohugs: :twohugs: :grouphug:

I'm thankful for my health. I love going on long walks in my area, the flora and the fauna and all that stuff. As this might actually have been the most beautiful autumn, weatherwise, that I've seen here, it takes on added significance.

I'm thankful to have actually become friends with my sister, which is a miracle of sorts, given that we have caused each other so much pain in each of our lives. Siblings, like the rest of your family, you didn't get to choose, you got lumped in with them. My sister has actually become a friend, a good and highly valued one. Not a common occurance.

I'm thankful for working with a wonderful group of people. Even though we bitch and backbite a lot, I greatly appreciate being around a bunch of people who make me laugh out loud every day. I love being around a bunch of sitcom characters there.

I'm thankful that I have Snoopy. She's one of our cats, a black 14 year old female. Back in the spring, she was diagnosed with cancer, with an inoperable tumor above her rear left leg. Amazingly, she has shown no decrease in energy, or attitude, although the strength in her legs have inevitably weakened. She's a joy to be around, at all times. We cherish every day we have with her.

I'm thankful for my sense of humor, which helps me to deal with the more stressful aspects of life.

I'm thankful for having met and married the woman currently in the kitchen, putting away the stuff she shopped for on the way home from work...the makings of dinner for a party we're hosting on Saturday night. There is no such thing as a perfect relationship...much of our stress stems from the both of us being so much alike in many disturbing ways...but the fact is, I'd be lost without my wife. Throughout my journeys, it would be very hard to pinpoint anyone who's a more giving, caring, loving human being. And, I married her. Miracles do happen. I also have my mom and dad...both in sterling health...

And, I join in with everyone else on this thread with this one...but I'm thankful for the wonderful friends I've made here. I love you all very much...

Knox hon i know how you feel. i would be lost without my husband, and i forgot in my initial posting that i am truly thankful for david.
and about your cat.... poor baby dont you hate when they suffer? hope the cat fights this.
and about your sister, i'm glad to hear you two are getting along. i only have one sister, and now that both my parents are dead, she, plus my husband, are my only real family. i have aunts uncles nephews and one niece but its not quite the same thing. my sister can be a pain, she tells me all her problems and then doesnt let me tell mine, but she is family so i let her vent away.

I am grateful for my Dad and Mom. I am grateful that I am even closer to my parents than perhaps I ever was in the past.

I am grateful to all the good people here on the TMF and have made many good friends here.

I am also very grateful for something that most might not consider or know. I am grateful for my expanded Field Of View. Most of us go through life without ever really looking up or down, left or right. Our vision tends to be straightforward. Nonwavering. Its a busy hectic world so I suppose its not surprising. One of the consequences of me starting my own business was to start to see a bigger picture. To expand my vision of the world around me and look up to the sky, or to the ground below. To watch the miracle of flight of a bird, to see a rainbow, to see the Milky Way, to see the beautiful crystals in the rocks at my feet, or the flowers blooming in the garden next door. Its a gift that I can give to all of you, all you need to do is expand your Field Of View. 😀 😀

ahhh kurch well said. i totally concurr...

I'm so very Thankful that God has blessed me with my two children, they are the total loves of my life.

I am thankful for the wonderful memories I have of the loved ones who have passed and for the new memories made each day of friends and loved ones surrounding me in this life.......(all of you definitely included...)

:lovestory

I am thankful for the small pleasures in life. After all, it's the small things that make up life.

Thanks, Izzy.

Snoopy's doing the best she can, but the truth is, it was really inoperable. The tumor is right above her rear left leg; an operation would've required removing the leg and a wide area surrounding it. We figured that such an operation would've reduced her quality of life to something very sad and marginal. Besides, we just don't have the five or six thousand that it would taken to do this.

Her spirits are great, and she's not sick. Knock on wood. It's going to be a very tough decision to make when the time comes, when her quality of life becomes negligable. This is Mrs Knox's cat, one that she brought into the relationship, and she loves her more than you could ever know...
